If someone doesn’t publish will there be a last minute opening for some one to step in a publish a course. I didn’t make the sign up but I know I have a very good course in the works and would at least be a top 3. Just curious I like competition and would really like to give some of the best a run for there money.

Oh, and no, you won’t be able to enter. Precedence and integrity of the contest field won’t allow for it. But we have two more contests starting soon, and you’d qualify to compete in the CC design challenge, so stay tuned for details.

The World Cup of Design is the best of the best. To even make it out of your group is an accomplishment. Pretty much the Super Bowl of course design and I could never see a newer/unknown designer winning it. In all honesty though CowboyTroy is a good designer who isn't afraid to take risks. guys, he reached out a while back and I told him if a someone else bowed out he was in. At this point bowing out is not happening. A DNF is not the same so a DNF is simply a disqualification...but he's not just posting for fun, he did reach out previously and was on the list of replacements.
That being said...finish your course! I will personally give it a streamed play through and hype it.

I just love this guy's energy. Only half the field published. Half frantically finishing. Everyone already eagerly awaiting results with the best of the best designers we have on pins and needles after putting hours and hours into a course and cowboytroy just comes in guns blazing. We are friends now. You are my friend. I am all in on you!!!  I'm sure you look at your post the same way you looked at this pic and thought... "nailed it."  |

I appreciate all of the nice comments you guys! I’m always just trying to push the envelope and get better! I have published my front 9 just to give it a go and make sure everything ran correctly inder the name like ZZZ so no one would play it. If any of you guys would like the actual name to give it a run and see if it’s worth filling in or publishing for the next competition I will gladly give you guys the name and would love the feedback! My confidence is high and I have been working hard to bring the best experience possible. Not to toot my own horn or bash anyone’s course that has already been published because I know how tough it is but I just think I’m better.
