Fisheye Bay Golf Club, my TGC Tours World Cup of Design entry is live. Set on the coastal waterways of South Carolina, Fisheye Bay is shotmaker's course, checking in at just more than 7,450 yards. Placement will be key off the tee and around the green in order to score well.

Out done yourself again bud, layout, planting, sculpting, strategy all top notch. The 17th is just gorgeous, the whole course is gorgeous. Here's my play thru, left my good putter at the office and sorry for the quality, gl in the contest...

Loved this - massively strategic (I'd argue more than Necedah or Hoback) and although it's flat for the most part, the greens are really challenging and well thought-out. For me, it's this coupled with what you do with simple things (open space, where you place heavy rough, green contours, decisions on where to plant) that raise this above pretty much all of the rest of us. Very high winds and crappy tempo made this stupidly tough for me - good thing you can't be hit with the CC thing this time I expect this one to go deep - congrats Mayo! Edit: oh, also, 17 is one of my favourite par threes in the game. Just love the environment it sits in and it feels wonderfully natural for what is actually a very manufactured hole - so tough to pull off. Quality, quality stuff.

Ok, so after a slow double bogey start where the coffee hadn’t yet hit the veins, I then birdied 4 of the next 5 as my putter was on fire!!.. but the inevitable happened... and by the 10th hole I yet again found myself over par. Kinda steadied the ship and and finished up +3.. not bad for me in high winds!! I liked the different strategic options which I’m sure will all be obvious after playing all pinsets. Contrary to the above post I actually found the greens quite tame... must of left myself in the right spots! You have a knack of taking somthin quite simple and making it top notch... damn you!! Another deep entry Jeremy and all the best in the competition👍
