Ok I will give you guys a tutorial on wind.
so lets say you have a par three, 167 yards, down hill 15 yards, and a cross wind of 12 mph.
167-5=162
I would hit the 158 yard club, with a touch of loft, then aim a little over 1/2 box into the wind of the shot shaper, than 12 clicks for the other 6mph wind.
another example:
128 yards, fairway, 13 mph playing tail, from 7:30 to 1:30. green is slight up hill by 7 yards.
128+3=131
6-8 mph off the total, now you are 123 to 125, then factor in 2x the roll so 4 yards, because of the tail wind. So you are now at 119 to 121.
As for the aim, click over 6 time to the left. So hit the PW with no adjustments
It should get you right under the hole, depending on the slope of the green.
One more 181 yards, down hill 12 yards, slight head wind a little right of 12. 15 mph. So you math it:
181-4+30=207. Now look at the green, does it slope front to back, back to front ect, now try and pick a spot like 5 to 7 yards short of the pin, and factor in slope. you won't get as much roll going because of the head wind.
I would take the 3i, loft 1 grid, and aim some place right of the hole.
for tee shots in high winds, 15 plus, use combo box and click. half a box is 4-5mph, then click the rest, you could go full box but that can reduce the cone too much and cause miss hits. I try to half the wind so that I am making a miss hit not as bad. With trouble or a tight pin, I favor click over box because of the miss hit penalty.
Hope that helps.
