The thing that keeps getting lost in your analysis is it's the same for everybody. Once you learn how to adjust for wind, you simply extrapolate your knowledge to the conditions. If I could PRACTICE in the wind I could LEARN to transfer that to tournament play What you cant practice in the wind, just like the rest of us. Seriously, I have been here 3 weeks, and everytime I go to read the Spoilers thread, it is you moaning about the wind, the wind that EVERYONE with no practice has to deal with. Give it a rest, its tiring, and quite frankly boring. You are bad at the game, get better, its that simple. You say the wind fix is not working. Ok so lets go back to me having 2 mph and you 20 mph in a random fashion shall we? The Wind fix did nothing except ensure that everyone experienced conditions that were close to each other. Nothing else. Get over yourself, please you are ruining this thread every week, to where I really dont want to contribute. Stop blaming the game for you being no good, the PGA tour guys are shooting these same course 10 under each round, in the same conditions.

You can practice in winds dude, Make yourself a tour/tournament and it will give you winds. I had a 16mph wind on my practice tour. it's how I practice every week. I do a few rounds and then a tour. Gives you a chance to try out different wind speeds. Only takes a couple of minutes to make one as well. So now you know, you have no excuse next week to complain about not being able to practice in the winds.

I could not understand how my scores seemed to be increasingly getting worse by every stroke I took. In the 3rd round, things were so bad that I knew something was amiss. Upon watching my general mouse movements on the screen I realized that the mouse was not moving straight in either axis. Long story made short, the mouse software had become corrupted, all movements were out of sync and the values for DPI were constantly changing even when the mouse was at rest (no movement). Downloaded new drivers, reconfigured everything back to previous settings, mouse is now moving in the correct manor. My tournament is over, a strike may be in my immediate future. No excuse for not checking the equipment. Maybe with round 4, I may be able to recover some of my lost dignity and strokes, time will tell. And to make this worse, here I thought it may be the wind and my lack of skills that were the cause of these horrendous scores. A player is only as good as his equipment allows.

If I could PRACTICE in the wind I could LEARN to transfer that to tournament play I'm not in CC-E, yet lol. Will probably be joining you guys soon. I had no idea making a Tour would somewhat emulate the wind we'd see in a tournament. Every time I've created a tour I may see 8-10 mph winds tops, In Tournament I have seen up to 18mph. So I would argue creating my own Tour may up the wind some..but it won't match tournament wind. It would be nice to be able to set the wind speed and many have said the same thing. I realize EVERYONE plays under the same conditions. I'm not the only one raising these concerns week after week yet I'm the only one being attacked for bringing it up.

I would highly encourage you to just start your own phlyerphanatic "I am a whiner" thread so you can just post your rants in that one single thread instead of posting in 30 different threads in the forum. That way if I want to see your complaining I can just go to one spot.

And finished with a 73 for a total of +17. I utterly ruined it for myself. I was -4 after the first 9 then just broke down, swinging like crap in a way I never do when I'm practicing. Had a couple of real nasty slices and way, way many more 95-95% shots when I needed 100%.
Don't get me wrong. The core issue is that after about 100 rounds of golf in TGC, I am a very poor player. But I'm seeing some weird stuff in tournament play I don't see in practice. My framrates drop to about 30 or so ehn I'm in tournament play, something I rarely see in practice play. This seems to affect my swing somehow, making me hit many more 94%-ers than what I normally do in practice. I can usually stay on fairway for a whole round in practice play, but my swings are much more erratic on the tour. Again, I'm not blaming the game here. I know what I am, a shitty player. But these things just seem off to me. Anyone else experiencing something similar?

Yeah, I have noticed a few more 95% shots but I chalked it up to me not waiting until I get to the top of my backswing or I don't flick hard enough. Sometimes I have to purposely take a pause at the top and flick forward and usually there are no issues.
