How big of an issue do we think straight shooting and modded controllers are on The golf club & TGCTours.
Im new to this space so I dont have any kind of experience or significant knowledge on the issue but a few fellow TGC players I talk to seem to think is rife amongst some top players.
I have no knowledge of anyone who does cheat in this way but im curious, how big or small of an issue is this amongst the TGC & TGCTours community.
Does anyone know for a fact of anyone cheating?

Not very. I sometimes play alternate shot with the top guys if I'm playing well and in contention. They miss the line by a couple of pixels most of the time. Not too different from I do with the regular DS4 controller.

I can't speak for the game as a whole but as for TGC Tours, it is rare. We spot check rounds regularly and rarely have we found any one in violation of our straight shooter policy. There have been a few cases and a few permanent bans because of it, but with tens of thousands of rounds submitted, the overall percentage is extremely low.

It wud be very unfortunate for the game as a whole if this was allowed to go on. Im really enjoying TGCTours but I would find it disheartening if alot of players got away with it.

My only worry would be hori pads only turned on when a pure strike is needed. PC players will always have slight advantage but barely anything

In general using keys is more accurate for yardages i guess. The mouse against a ruler was the main help i was thinking of lol I'm sure no one does that though PC gaming has always been better just rather sit on my couch nowadays

i dont get this straight shooter rule.. i use a normal MS wireless controller and i usally hit a perfect shot 95% of the time.. ive always had a knack for hitting it straight since my EA days... i stream on twitch lots so if a member comes in and sees me hitting good golf shot i could be punished?

Iv watched u play on twitch and iv got a habit to check how straight people hit it and i didnt notice anything rule breaking. Its easy to hit it straight but zero axis straight is not soo common unless uv got special controller

I hit the majority of my shots straight also but that doesn't improve my approach shots much because I'm just not getting my distances right when it comes to angled cross winds with different clubs.

I guess 80% is "cheating" with edging or other means. No way are you gonna hit 95% straight shots without any means of help. Not even 30%. This game is riddled with wind-cheaters, edgers and others.
