Since fixing my swing tempo issues, I've gone back and done the "Iron Byron" swing macro again. And it's interesting because it's much more consistent now, but it is also still not the same each and every time like you would think something like that should/would be. Knowing what we do now about Vsync causing problems seems to signal what I think a lot of people have suspected before: frame rates absolutely are causing issues with swing timings. I really hope HB is listening and finds a fix for Vsync causing issues. Because if frame rate fluctuations are causing tempos to vary, then not being able to lock those frame rates to help with that is just as frustrating. Have you specifically been to HB with evidence? If not, then they won't be listening... and even if you have, they probably aren't listening. Been there, done that... I'm not even sure on the best way to be sure to contact them nowadays, as I've a number of suggestions that I think would improve the core gameplay... not sure I've got the energy for the fight this time around. |

Funny, because I just contacted their tech support about the tempo issue. I explained that it was solved. They didn't ask how/why or any details, just closed the ticket and marked it fixed. I thought it was amazing they didn't care one bit about how it was fixed...so they could put it in their scripted support system to help others and pass it along to be fixed in the code base. Only that they could mark it off their list and move on. Because that's how 2K and by association HB operate. I know Brightail passed it along to them on their own message boards. They know, we'll see if they care to fix it. |

The bottom line tempo is broke on PC/XBOX
1. PC default swing now is 295YD driver hitting every drive fast. That cant be what HB/2K wanted from this game, people circumnavigate the difficulty level of game modes?
2. the XBOX tempo is so random it's not even funny anymore.
3. PS4 tempo is fine (YOU GET OUT WHAT YOU PUT IN WITH THE CONTROLLER)
We don't need 7 pages of posts telling other people how to do the P/P tempo? it can't be done, if a script cant hit P/P every time what makes you guys think you can? that's just stupid sorry but it is.

I hit 95%+ of my drives perfect. I struggle with long irons as to hitting perfects. I also thought there was no longer a perfect-perfect swing tempo???

Sorry i mean Perfect tempo and 100% power Ahhh, there we agree. I can get that Perfect but hardly ever do I hit 100%. It is almost always overswing and I wish we could turn it off. Never have been a fan of overswing to begin with. I have been practicing with moving the marker for a lower % shot and actually having a more fun time playing that way. I can hit all the in between club ranges by doing that. |
