What has happened to 'the customer is always right' Working in customer service myself that is not always true anymore and changed.a numbering years ago when companies were losing so much money as customers were dishonest and taking advantage. Now it is about listening to the customer, empathising and then working out an amicable solution where the customer is satisfied but not detrimental to the company. HB however has done none of this and in the end it will bring about there own downfall. Anyone playing a golf simulation game is interested in golf anyway and while it is good to play on courses you watch on TV, it is not why we bought the game. 90% of us got this game as it is the only good game on the market that isn't animated or arcade like.

Hi does anyone have a copy of the Additional Themes and is prepared to give me a copy of the zip files or download link. Unfortunately i was late in hearing about these additional themes and by the time i went on the forum Chad had removed the link. Barrie

Did hb publically mention this anywhere? Didn't see anything on their forums.

Did hb publically mention this anywhere? Didn't see anything on their forums. Of course not. They’re just going to delete any forum posts about it and shut down the server that allows any of these new themes to be published at all.

Could start a small "Officially Unofficial HB New Theme 9 Hole Contest"? Could share the files when done so all PC users can play them, and stream everything we can to get the content out there. Edit: Obviously wont get a ton of plays, or likes... but it would be some fun. Most of us kill the plant meter on 9 holes anyways

If you decide you wanted to swap the theme and actually publish, then you'd be able to do so.

Would be pretty cool to see the same course planted in a new theme and an old just to really show what a big difference the new options bring to the table

Well, I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but HB is aware of this and looks like they will most likely be patching this (my guess is the legal issues surrounding the tournament objects). HB Shaun told me in a PM that he recommends not to publish anything with the new objects or "themes" I've been PM'ing with HB Shaun asking (pleading) for at the very least that they could remove those potentially troubling objects and release the new tree/bush combos as their own themes (you know, since they will already be patching this, why not do this relatively small thing for a group of dedicated designers who build amazing courses to sell your game). I was told that they already released all the objects they could in the last update (apparently 15 or so sheds was all they could release?), but there are "other restrictions on the number of items of each type that can be available in-game in each of the themes" (which makes no sense if you just remove the legal-trouble objects. Also I was told that this was "not something we will be making further changes to for 2019". Shaun, or any other HB employees that will most likely be reading this in the next couple days, I am done biting my tongue. I have been a loyal backer of this game and have bent over backwards to pump the tires of this TGC 2019. Through streams and tutorials that have literally been seen over 100,000 times, myself (and other awesome TGC 2019 streamers and youtubers) have sold this game for you through their content and course designs, while you haven't given us much more than an update on the future of this game or this franchise. Your interaction with the community is an absolute embarrassment and how you treat your hardcore fanbase is just appalling, but you can get away with it because you are the only golf game on the market. All we are asking for is something new and fresh for the designer. I understand the potential legal issues, but why can't you just remove those objects and release the new plants and terrain combos as their own separate themes? I know nothing about making a video game, but I feel like this wouldn't take a ton of time to do as a service to your fan base. But you aren't going to. Really sad. Patching!! You mean they are actually going to do something with the game after nothing since the launch?? If this holds up (ie no patch), I might be tempted to buy the game on Steam just to be able to design on PC (I'm an XB guy).. Hell, may do it regardless as Steam has it for 70% off currently.. Designing on XB is painfully slow.. I've got an i7 precision workstation with 32gb RAM and a 4GB NVidia card just waiting to be used for something like this.. hmmmmmm

Especially if you already have the PC. Seems HB can block publishing these themes without a patch, all serverside. So they have to do very little.

Has anybody published a course with these new themes or assets and able to play them?
