Has anybody published a course with these new themes or assets and able to play them? You can't, HB blocked courses from being published in these themes, because apparently trees, good looking houses, tennis courts, etc are under some kind of copyright or trademark.

First question...I assume the link has been taken down and no one is willing to share the files? At least to mess around with, and not publish?
Secondly...I get that HB has to be hush hush about things and their are licensing issues and everything in between, but why not be transparent? I play NBA 2K regularly and their are people creating college teams and adding logos and all kinds of things out there and there are no issues. Why are they able to do it, but HB can't under the same 2K sports umbrella?
Lastly...I am greatly appreciative to have TGC19, a game I still play regularly and have designed half a dozen courses on. I will always buy the next installment, likely always buy two copies (PC & PS4), but this has really been a bad year for those who are not die hards. My brother and a good friend of mine play the game a good amount and are constantly asking about the lack of updates and info out there for future titles.
HB, you guys have been great, but I must warn you (You likely don't care) info is king in now 2020. People expect transparency, especially when they've dished out money for your product.

It appears that HB has scared everyone from sharing the additional theme files even for personal use. Really disappointed that nobody is prepared to share. What will happen if HB decide to pull the plug on the serversand nobody will share their course files so that offline players will not have a variety of courses to play. We should take a lead from the Links 2003 community where courses are freely shared. Barrie

It’s pretty amazing the stuff they produced with that game and the modding they were able to produce. I would love to see someone mod the career mode in addition to the designer.

Barrie Pretty sure that when the servers go offline eventually (assuming there's still a community), we'd definitely be pulling courses offline and sharing the files. Just, with the servers up, there's not really that need. And I think folks don't really want to bother too much designing in the new themes if you have to pass the files around. Why spend 40+ hours on a bootleg course when you can just do it in a slightly different theme and get it to a wider audience? Outside of Atlantic Beach theme, most of the official themes are just slight remixes of themes we already have. They're fun to dabble in, but I don't really want to sink a weeks work into one either.

I have links in my discord server to the files. Feel free to hop in and grab them. discord.gg/xvrrsu3I'd be up for running/help run a bootleg tourney. If people are game. I have no problem in streaming those courses. Think it'd be fun to see what people can come up with. This is the way.

If we do a bootleg tourney and it's already PC-only, we might as well also make it the collab tourney that we never do because we don't want to exclude console guys.......

Here's a question (mostly for Chadgolf). Seeing as all the files we have are theme swaps of a single plot, I'm assuming that means that it's doable to take a WIP and transfer it into a different theme? Since these courses can't be published, and I've had issues moving them from their perspective themes into official themes, I'm wondering if that can be done in the opposite direction. Say, designing a layout in delta, then porting it to Atlantic Beach for planting, while leaving a workable delta version of the plot for wider publish.
