So... who got it? I'm loving it right now. Think Headmaster is an amazing game to showpiece the technology! If you hate it at least give a non fan boyish reason why  it certainly has flaws and isn't for everyone but I think it's well worth the money compared to rift and vive Played the Headmaster demo for the first time today and that was way more fun than it had any right to be. |

As a bonus for PS+ in September and October RIGS will be available for free. Excited and hopeful that VR freebies will become a recurring or regular theme, but the RIGS demo brought more nausea than almost everything I've played thus far.

Some good VR game sales on right now at Best Buy in the US. I just picked up VR Worlds, Driveclub, and Starblood Arena for $10 each.

With the 1 year anniversary only a couple weeks away Sony has been pushing VR pretty hard in its' blog. Sounds like there's supposed to be a big VR game sale on the PSN next week, so I'm hopeful I'll be stocking up with a bunch of stuff. Plus today they just updated their FAQ and used it to stealth mention a revised headset coming soon. Has built in sound, narrower cables, and a new box that will allow those playing in 4K to not have to switch cables all the time. Of course the new box won't work with the old headset because of the different cables.
Hopeful this is a sign that they're going to really start pushing the thing as it really is cool tech and does seriously change the gaming experience.

VR Anniversary sale is going on now in the North American store at least. Grabbed most of my most wanted games for less than $50. Got Headmaster, Statik, Super Stardust VR, and I Expect You to Die.

More free stuff with Plus coming next week. Until Dawn Rush of Blood is a bonus free game and Bound is a PS4 game for the month and is playable on VR.

That new Chernobyl game looks sick! If I had VR I'd definitely be all over that one. Very interesting topic for those who may not know about it.

Demo disc V2.0 that comes with the new bundles is available for download on the PS Store. Some repeats from the original disc but 7 new demos including the highly anticipated Moss. Demo is only a few minutes long but that's already long enough to fall in love with the adorable little mouse.

Just got ours a few weeks ago. So far I've only got Driveclub and the Pub Sports game for it. It's also pretty cool playing non-VR games with the headset on. Feels like I'm playing TGC2 or Rocket League on a 60 foot wide screen...all while my wife watches something else on the TV.
Also I'm seeing titles in this thread that I've never even heard of. Headmaster???

I haven't attempted Driveclub online very often but I've only once got into a race and it was only with one other person. Maybe someone else had a different experience than me but servers seem empty so I wouldn't jump on the Plus train for Driveclub. Until Dawn Rush of Blood and Bound are currently both free with Plus so that would be a better reason to give Plus a try. |
