I have Elite Dangerous on PS4. Great game. I understand it's great in VR on PC. Hoping Frontier opens it up on the PSVR side because I could get lost in space for days in VR lol. If you're interested in on planet space exploration you may want to consider The Solus Project. Space ship crashes on an alien world and you need to explore both for survival and to discover the mysteries of the planet. I haven't made it too far in yet but it sounds like it's one of those games that gets better as you get past the early game hand holding. It's a full length game as well instead of an "experience". It is however one of those games that says it's enhanced with Move controllers but actually requires them if you want to play in VR. I'll check that out, thanks. I do have a Move controller from back in the PS3 Camera days. I'm going to charge it up today and see if i can get away with one Move and the DS controller for some things. Sooner or later I'll break down and get a used one somewhere as well.

Then a few weeks ago I found a used one for $15 that looked like it had never been used. $15 for a set is a lot cheaper than the $130 they want for a new two pack here. If you can't find one locally at a Gamestop or pawn shop or something you should be able to get a used one off Amazon for $20ish.

Figured I'd better put some time into Solus if I'm going to be suggesting it to people. Spent probably 2 or 3 hours with it today and it is a good game. Doesn't have combat, or at least not yet and the tutorial leaves you with many game functions to figure out on your own but the alien world is chock full of mysteries and questions that I'm eager to find some answers to. I'd read reviews that say it's a mediocre game in 2D but VR really adds a lot to it, and I think I understand why.
Definitely a good choice if you like exploration over action.

And despite using the Dualshock in 2D mode it does require two Move controllers to be able to play in VR. Seems dumb, but oh well. Reviews also put the game length around 15-20 hours.

Just got Doom VFR yesterday. 14GB game on disc but update files of almost 11GB meant I didn't get to play until today. Started with two Move controllers and it was almost unplayable for me since I think the only way to turn your body in-game is to physically turn your body and since I had no desire to stand up while playing it was really hard to move around and do anything. Switched to a Dualshock and things became much less frustrating. Gives me further desire to pick up a Flashpoint bundle so I can try this with the Aim controller.

Pretty massive VR sale in the store this week but only if you have PS+. Probably close to half the VR library is on sale right now.
Made me realize I've already purchased most of the games I'm overly interested but with Skyrim, RE7, The Solus Project, and Doom all as full length games sitting at varying levels of completion I should work on my backlog before getting games I have middling interest in.

Don't recall seeing it mentioned here, but I picked up Esper in the current Anniversary sale. Fun game for anyone who enjoyed Statik or I Expect You To Die.

Got Astro Bot Rescue Mission during Black Friday. Only a few levels in but I don't think I can recommend it enough. It gives that kind of platforming wonderment that the classic Mario games did way back in the NES and SNES(possibly Mario 64 as well)days. Just a really well done game that uses VR well to make it different from a traditional game, looks rather good, and is almost impossible to play without having it put a smile on your face.
