He did perform well. A balky putter down the stretch erased it. He'll be ok. To put it in northern Irish terms he doesn’t have the arse for it anymore 😆 in our group chat a few mates and I were just waiting for the blowup. In majors he can’t handle the pressure anymore. Total mental block. The putt on 18 was brutal tbf but the chip to leave it above the hole, the missed putt on 16 and the misclub into the par 3 are just typical Rory under the gun now unfortunately. Says me, a total hacker! You could say Rory is pretty similar to Greg Norman in how both their mental game prohibits them winning majors. He should really be double figures for majors now. Puts way too much pressure on himself. He wasn't like that when he was younger, so didn't feel the pressure as much.

"Maybe even try legend if you're bored," My playing partner and I did this. We started out struggling big time, but stuck with it and now we are hooked. So rewarding to shoot well on legend. We still have lies and green grid on, but the switch got us to a point of more "realistic" scores...+5 is good, even par is great, and under par is awesome.
