Yes! But now, no more excuse for you guys. Let's play in full retard mode like 2K wants. Next tourny should be 4 rounds of very firm and very fast greens to celebrate that! They have given the societies the option to choose now and there is nothing retarded about that. I am sure there will be plenty of societies out there playing with consumable balls still. |

Only a default ball user can think you just change the ball and no shots calculation is changed. So default ball it is, I'll play every rounds with it. But no more spoon feeding please, 186 are very playable for all wallets now! 😃 |

Never had an excuse, I’ve used consumable balls in TGCT and I’ve chipped from bunkers because if everyone has that advantage why sacrifice it from my side. The good news is that in my career mode I’ve always played default balls on 155 and only splashed out of bunker. I’m ready for this change which is great from 2k, they actually listened to their customers and gave us the option. Really promising signs. I very much look forward to everyone playing the same course, same setup and the same SPEED. |

You do know you can change green speeds to compensate the higher roll speed of default balls. You do know that TST won't be playing 186 greens anyway so your point is moot there. Default ball plays absolutely fine tee to green and with good green speeds plays absolutely fine also, it is all I play so plenty of practice with them. Setting 186 greens just to play balls with lesser roll out is stupid. Everyone will be playing the same course and conditions now and shouldn't that be important to you also, having to play a more arcade mode because HB implemented such beyond crazy attributes golf balls was frustrating. Looks like you will be getting used to default balls as well now 🤣 |
