"If you had a tour card from last season (Plat, Elite, Kinetic or CC) and you play the Platinum event in 2K23, you should see your scores pop up assuming you've opted into 3rd party data sharing." This is only for the test event on platinum society this week - Q-School will work, regardless of your card status from last year, assuming you sign up for it if required. Ah, I assumed the test event and the plat event were the same. But yeah, it should be fine if he registers prior to Q-School.

My score isn't on the leaderboard. I wasn't registered for a Tour, i need to go to Q-school after a couple of years absence. Is that the reason i'm not on the leaderboard? You don't have a holdover tour card from last season - that's the reason. You'll be good to go for Qualifying Event this weekend. Thanks! My score isn't on the leaderboard. I wasn't registered for a Tour, i need to go to Q-school after a couple of years absence. Is that the reason i'm not on the leaderboard? I thought I read that your scores would only show up if you had an active tour card last season. EDIT: yep, here it is: tgctours.proboards.com/thread/32158/test-eventSo, it seems.

Everyone that plays all four rounds of the qualifying event will get a tour card. Last game someone was over +300 and still earned a card.

Having played in the Platinum and Elite tournaments, I must say I'm firmly in the Legendary camp, especially for the Pro tours. It feels like the sort of challenge that TGC Tours used to be back in the day. The sort of challenge that kept me coming back, practising and trying to improve my game every week. Its all very well saying it doesn't matter as people will shoot crazy low scores whatever.... It was the personal struggle that was enticing, to keep the ball in the fairway and where I had to really think about every shot. In 2K21 on Pro, that challenge was gone. Nearly every fairway and green was hit automatically and it was just who could do that best. A lot of the fun (for me anyway) was sucked out of the game by the simplicity. Bring on the legendary challenge. That would pretty much guarantee that every player on Platnium, Elite and Kinetic would be either a PS5 or PC user. It's going to be hard enough for us Xboxers to even make cuts on Master swing, at least let us enjoy some competition and make a cut once in a while.

I would like to see TGC tours have a Legend difficulty tour just for Xbox. I know this won't happen but it would be fun. The competition/competitive balance suicide rate for Xbox continues to be at an all time high Billy, let's not get crazy here LOL

I didn't read through all 25 pages but sounds like Xbox has the same swing issues in Legend/Plat as in 2K21. I am guessing the Pro swing is going to be the swing of choice then. I am wondering how 3 click is on Xbox compared to PS5/PC? I am sure nobody would go for that though. Seems master is OK on XB this time. Legend still borked mate. I'd be surprised if it's not master ahoy across the whole site, bar Beer League, but I've been wrong many times. Master is certainly playable on XB this time, with archetype and fittings mixed in. Looking forward to seeing the 5 Xbox players combined in the three pro tours. We all know the easier console to play on. Is what it is.

To be fair to 2K, the XB control scheme and it's odd polling frequencies (250hz, but at a 125hz sample to save battery or whatever magic it is) is something they can do little about... Suppose that as master seems better this time, you might well see more than the usual slack handful of XB players on the Pro tours. Who knows. It's not just PS players that have it piss easy... PC can play a decent round too..

I'd say with near certainty the answer to that is yes and that is without a doubt a good thing.

Or don’t worry about the TGC Tour leaderboards and only worry about the XBox leaderboards.

PS has been the vast better system for a few interations now.

I think if you put these guys on a PS you’d see a new world order at the top of the rankings!
