Lots of exhibition golf to play in PGA TOUR 2K23 in the next few weeks as we get things updated under the hood. Please provide feedback on your rounds - I'd appreciate as much details as possible so will provide a format you can use if you'd like.
Here are our societies in game - search "TGCT" to find them easily
Exhibition Event settings
TGCTours (Platinum Tour) - Legend, open swing type
TGCTours (Elite Tour) - Master, open swing type
TGCTours (Kinetic Tour) - Master, open swing type
TGCTours (Challenge Circuit) - Pro, open swing type
TGCTours (Beer League) - Pro, 3-click
TGCTours (True Sim Tour) - TST settings, analog
TGCTours (Special Events) - no events scheduled
Please provide the following while giving feedback:
Event/Difficulty Swing type (analog/3 click) Thoughts on how it played (frustration/fun factor) Sprinkled a few rain rounds in these events - if you get one and notice frame drops/lag please let me know here as well.
Please note that these are just test events. Upcoming season settings not finalized yet.
Have fun out there!

Is Beer League a standalone tour or an either/or versus the main tours, or has that not yet been decided?

Howdy,
Finished all 4 rounds of an exhibition event.
Elite/Master (PC) Swing type - analog
Played pretty fair. Wasn't any craziness on the greens. High winds were tough as expected. No frames drops nor stuttering in the "rain round".
Looking forward to the new season. Thx to all the guys at TGC.

as a lower level CC player who plays on a pc with a mouse, I struggled, but enjoyed it, I like a good challenge and playing with the mouse has never been easy. I find the Pro settings much better, as I have been playing all my rounds on Master, and my best round was +13

Xbox player here:
I ended last season in TGC as one of the few Xbox players on Platinum for reference....
So far I played a round on CC and a couple rounds in Platinum. I shot -12 on the CC course. I had been playing on Masters since I bought the game. It seemed much easier than the game on last years Pro...aside from the chipping. Although ive gotten better at chipping by just putting backspin on and playing for a very fast. I think most people will reach and exceed how well they played on Pro in this game compared to last years.
On Platinum, with the Legend settings i shot +7, then a +5. I think with a few more rounds i could get intonred numbers, but barely. The positive with Legend here is i was able to still hit perfect shots. I kept track round one and hit 9 perfect shots off the tee with the driver out of 14 holes. Now, on 2k21 on Pro, even though i was in Platinum, in 90 percent of my rounds i would never hit a perfect off the tee. I just lived in a grey fast spot with the driver. So this was nice. However, if it wasnt a perfect it was all the way in the black...or what used to be red. Im going to keep messing with it, but i dont think on XBOX, on Legend, you can even hit a grey tempo. It seems super weird to me, but thats my thoughts. Someone may come in and prove me wrong, but it seems like its perfect, or a miss just off the grey. If that is the case, it seems like a large oversight...and i dont think Legend would be a viable option for TGC if this is true.

Do we set up everything for our chosen exhibition according to the 2K21 guidelines?

Played a round in platinum, +11. I'm on XB, there is very little grey either side of perfect, but I felt it was at least playable to somee degree.
I've been playing in masters since game dropped.
Played a round in CC, -7, but then followed it up with a +5.
I hit many more prefects on Pro, but felt it was a little too easy.
For me, master is challenging but playable, my best thus far is -5
Stick Swing (analog) all rounds

I also shot +7 on the platinum event first round, haven't played any more yet. Didn't hit one perfect other than on chips and one splash from a bunker. Struggled to get the pace right with the medium length putts, either leaving them a couple of feet short or blasting them past. Might have a go at the Elite one when I get home again.

Early thoughts from a very long time Xbox player who has been stuck in various levels of CC but used to be in the top tier back in the early days of TGC...
Pro is too easy. Yeah, it's fun, but it's way too easy to score well. Master is a good challenging level without being frustrating - I'd stick with the Master for the vast majority of tours, and go for Legend in Platinum.
My opinion anyway!
Or maybe Pro for the lower CC leagues?

Played a couple of rounds so far - obviously analog.
CC - pro swing difficulty. Extremely easy - played very average and still in double digits under. Kinetic - master. Good level for most people I would think. Lovely course, although the designer really should have checked his pars stayed correct (571 and 590yd par 4's!!!) Shot -8 even so (so effectively -10 with the correct pars)
