Had a go at the legend one again, this time managed +2 or 3 or whatever it was. Tee to green wasn't too bad, a few random tempo swings that didn't feel like what they apparently were, but most of my frustrations came from putting. I had about a dozen birdie chances although probably only half of those were realistic being quite close, and they all bloody shaved the hole. The only birdie I got was a bloody chip in.
I think the swing plane should be wider with putts, it is generally an easier shot to execute than most others.

One thing the patch did not fix is the game crashing. Nothing else on my computer crashes, but about every other to every third round it crashes. It typically remembers the shot I just finished (sometimes it is one shot back) when I restart the program (computer is running fine, just the program is frozen). Interestingly, on the Task Manager it is not showing as frozen but I do see the utility crash handler is running. I have let it sit for a while and it never resumed or shut down. Well on PS5 so far, I had only 2 crash while playing the game. But both times, the shot was completly different when I resumed my round. So we have less here, but their more costly! 😛 |

I didn't read through all 25 pages but sounds like Xbox has the same swing issues in Legend/Plat as in 2K21. I am guessing the Pro swing is going to be the swing of choice then. I am wondering how 3 click is on Xbox compared to PS5/PC? I am sure nobody would go for that though.

I am wondering how 3 click is on Xbox compared to PS5/PC? I am sure nobody would go for that though. It's looking like Master, IMO, if there ends up being one universal swing across the main tours. But we shall see. |

I think someone mentioned the keyword, which is fun. I just played one round on the challenge level, which I think was set to Pro. I shot +6. I don't concern myself with the difficulty but with parity in competition. To me, that parity has never really been fleshed out, certainly not in the lower tier CC levels. Doesn't look like this new version is going to help with that. Parity can't be artificially created by TGC making conditions as easy as possible as we saw last year for the whole season when we had ridiculous high scoring. Parity comes from us - and how closely matched we are with our skill levels primarily. Doyley's first statement was it's either going to be master or legend because pro was way too easy. So if you're shooting +6 on pro right now, then you should give yourself more credit that you will improve - we've just gotten the game, we don't have all the fittings, etc. so give yourself some more time, you'll see in a couple of weeks when you're dominating pro and understand why TGC is going with one of the top 2 difficulty levels. Believe in yourself! |

Just played in a master society and the top guys (all Plat) were shooting 16 to 18 under each round. I’d rather a harder swing that creates more interesting decision making and course management than wild fairways, ice hockey greens and 20 mph winds to artificially create difficulty. But I’m sure you all know that by now, so I’ll stop writing it over and over 😂 |

Just completed my second event in the CC Pro difficulty. The first event, I shot +17. This one -16. On 2K21, I stayed in CC L. I made most cuts but only managed one promo mark. I will never be competing for Top 10, I don't have the time to devote to the game. I play in othe Master difficulty societies and generally shoot a few strokes over par per round. That said, do I hope CC is on Pro? Sure, but I completely understand if it goes to Master. I just means I need to take time in the training facility to work out the massive amount of kinks that I have. I am curious to see what next week (Master difficulty) holds for me.

For the record, I still love legend (I'm on PC) and will hope all you legend lovers can find a good society out there to scratch that itch - it just wouldn't work here w/out removing an entire console from being competitive.
