Also, it's been proven that perfect tempo is way easier to get on PS4 than other platforms so I guess PC players are @!$#ed.

Mostly red fast player here. Just played my first round. -10. I was pitching like goddamn penguin, that's for sure! 😂 This will have to be worked. Yeah I got some shorter distance on the drive. I can still play fast for splash shots like I want. I actually like the change I think. Will have to work my calculation on some specific shots or gust winds. And I was always able to get most of the time a perfect shot before, but I realised it's easier when you do that on most of your shots. Hitting a perfect when you didn't tried one for 4 holes can be tricky.
And here's the delicate situation. I'll eventually know about where all of my clubs are carrying with a traditional 45° red fast. Will you whine if you see me Red fasting my 295 driver at 101% cause i'm pretty sure it will land my ball close to the pin of a 250 yards Par 3? It's still working, just doing something else. 😃

Honestly happy with this change (and that’s coming from a red faster!!)
One thing I will ask though, is have they improved the tempo for hitting perfects? I’ve been having much a much better time than previous attempts.. I mean that is what drove me to go the red fast route originally!

However, the fact that tournaments are 100% unfair depending on when you played this week is an absolute joke. Well that's a bit harsh, don't you think? HB has never timed its updates according to the TGCT schedule. So, what should TGCT have done according to you? I mean, yes, this week's tournament is a little biased due to the update, but firstly, it's just this one week, and secondly, it doesn't even affect demo marks. Cheers, Kevin |

I guess I will start playing the game again.. This is great news! How about we all just agree to play "perfect" and put in the effort now. Sadly, I feel a lot of people will just spend time searching for the next mechanic abuse instead of perfecting the tempo lol

The only reason there was an influx (not many, but certainly a few more) of Xbox players inching their way into the top 20 on Tours was due to the red fast. It was/is the only way MANY Xbox players can remotely compete.

Too early for me to comment on how I feel about it. But, being on XBSX, my first thought/concern is, will this widen the chasm b/w consoles further.
My hope is that it will in fact make for a far more interesting and challenging (and hopefully fair) game.

My hope is that it will in fact make for a far more interesting and challenging (and hopefully fair) game. Xbox console has NEVER been able to compete with PS4, even with the red fast swing. Biggest problem is the near impossibility on the Xbox side to get consistently perfect tempo. I'm not saying 75%+ perfects (unheard of on Xbox console), I'm saying even 50% perfects. They may as well give up now. |
