Here it is!! The final leaderboard and many congratulations to DAVID STEVENSON, our first tour event winner!! Timmy Bones, Mark Black and Peter Piper all performed well, while Terry Baldwin, Charlie Roberts and Martin V Page were the only other 'guests' to end the week under par. Juan Aetee produced four fairly consistent rounds to finish at +2 and, while Les Souter's opening round promised much, he faded as the tourney progressed. Robert Ross was in contention at the halfway mark but inexplicably collapsed after that point. Hans Kunok and Mark Johns were others who showed some consistency, just not consistently low enough. Ian McKinley struggled with his game, especially in the final round, and Bob Fletcher had a week to forget and can only get better...

Yes mate, this society does not exist in 2K21, as far as I know, only in TGC 2019. And in case somebody is thinking about setting up the same kind of thing on 2K21, I may as well state that the idea behind the PLAYPGATOUR is my 'intellectual property', as they say...
I have to also say that things look very promising, can't wait until the tour proper begins on 4th January with the Los Angeles Open...
Was scrolling through, as it's a somewhat interesting concept, and got quite the chuckle out of this reply.
I'm curious which part is your intellectual property, the player names and scores, the tournament name, or the venue?

Quite obviously, none of those. But you did mention it yourself, so I'm surprised you had to ask! It's the concept of the competition itself. Not that it's really worth anything!

Hmmm interesting. A friend of mine joined the society last night with no problem, but he's using a PC. Maybe XBOX users can't join for some reason?!
Maybe someone here can provide an explanation...
Societies are specific to console/platform. There is no cross-platform play. Sounds like this is a Society set up on PC - hence the reason the Xbox users can't find the Society when searching.

The Round 3 leaderboard - and Timmy Bones has one hand on the trophy after a stunning 62 today. But that wasn't the best performance of this round - that accolade goes to Johnny Miller after his sizzling 61...

Congratulations to TIMMY BONES who emerged as the clear winner of the 1970 Phoenix Open last week!! For the rest of the field Phoenix Country Club proved to be a tough nut to crack, and many will be relieved to be able to move on to our next venue - Pebble Beach. Timmy moves to the top of the Money List as a result, and now leads the way in the quest for The Winter Trophy, awarded to the top money-earner over the first 10 events of the season...

The leaderboard after Round 3 - and it's going to be a close one!! Charlie Roberts and Mark Johns are slugging it out and the final day should be fascinating! The handicaps certainly are making a big difference, but again I stress that they will take a few weeks to settle down to more accurate levels...

The final leaderboard is below and Charlie Roberts, who had led from the start, found himself just edged out of the top spot by MARK JOHNS!! Charlie's worst round of the event, still a fine 66, was not good enough to hang on and Mark's 63 saw him grab the victory by 2 strokes. Both players produced the best rounds of the tournament, 61's, Charlie in the two opening rounds and Mark in Round 2. Juan Aetee completed the podium in third spot thanks to a couple of 63's in the last two rounds. Pebble Beach has to rank as one of the greatest courses ever, whatever the weather, and we look forward to returning there in the future. This was the first week of handicaps being used, and there will be a 'settling in' period before they become more accurate. The more data we have (round scores) the more accurate the handicap will be, so please be patient while the numbers sort themselves out!

This week we are participating in the ANDY WILLIAMS SAN DIEGO OPEN, being played on the South Course at Torrey Pines. Here is the leaderboard after Round 1, with Jack Nicklaus leading the field and the 'guest' players well spread out. There is likely to be a lot of movement, however, because the difficult weather conditions are forecast to be here all week...
