2017 DP WORLD TOUR Event 26 - THE OPEN CHAMPIONSHIP (at Royal Birkdale, England) - ROUND 1Les Souter has had a very average season by his standards so far, so it was a little surprising that he was able to produce a scintillating opening round of 60 to lead by 5 strokes at the end of the day. Jared Keener made a good start with a 65, while Bob Fletcher's poor putting restricted him to a 67. Relative newcomer Bill Dalton carded a 68 and it promises to be an interesting week...

2017 DP WORLD TOUR Event 26 - THE OPEN CHAMPIONSHIP (at Royal Birkdale, England) - ROUND 2 The harsher weather conditions took their toll today, with only one guest managing to scramble under par in the gale force winds. That was Bob Fletcher whose fighting 68 lifts him to 3rd spot, a single stroke behind the joint leaders. They are Jordan Spieth and overnight leader Les Souter, who struggled in with a 74, while Jared Keener's 73 sees him in a tie for 7th, four shots off the pace...

2017 DP WORLD TOUR Event 27 - Porsche EUROPEAN OPEN (at Green Eagle Nord, Germany) - ROUND 2 Ian McKinley still leads the field but he is closely shadowed by Hans Kunok. It looks to be a 2-horse race unless someone emerges from the chasing pack to make a challenge...

2017 DP WORLD TOUR Event 28 - WCG - BRIDGESTONE INVITATIONAL (at Firestone CC, Ohio) - ROUND 2 Bob Fletcher's second 66 of the event gave him the outright lead at halfway, but it's still impossible to predict who will get the win this week. Hans Kunok is a stroke further back after a 68, while Jared Keener is still in the mix after his 69 saw him finish just three shots off the pace.

2017 DP WORLD TOUR Event 28 - WCG - BRIDGESTONE INVITATIONAL (at Firestone CC, Ohio) - ROUND 3 Bob Fletcher slipped back after a 71, and Jared Keener took full advantage by shooting another 66 to become one of three co-leaders. Bob is only two strokes back, but Hans Kunok has five shots to make up in the final round after only being able to card a 73 today. It's still anyone's tournament...

2017 DP WORLD TOUR Event 28 - WCG - BRIDGESTONE INVITATIONAL (at Firestone CC, Ohio) - ROUND 4 Any hopes that Jared Keener and Bob Fletcher had of pulling off a famous victory evaporated after their respective rounds of 73 and 70. They were both blown away, as were several of the tour pros, when Hideki Matsuyama produced an extraordinary round of 61 to surge through and seize the win by 5 strokes!!

2017 DP WORLD TOUR Event 29 - US PGA CHAMPIONSHIP (at Quail Hollow, N. Carolina) - ROUND 1 Scoring was difficult today - and probably will be for the whole week. Les Souter (68) and Bob Fletcher (69) made good starts, with Jared Keener (70) not far behind. Ian McKinley and Hans Kunok had rounds to forget and have a lot of work to do to get into contention...

2017 DP WORLD TOUR Event 29 - US PGA CHAMPIONSHIP (at Quail Hollow, N. Carolina) - ROUND 2 Jared Keener produced one of the best rounds of the day, a super 65, to climb to within one shot of the halfway leaders. Meanwhile, Bob Fletcher's second 69 of the event sees him now four strokes off the pace and still in contention. Les Souter slumped to a 74 and now surely has too much to do to threaten the leading group...

2017 DP WORLD TOUR Event 29 - US PGA CHAMPIONSHIP (at Quail Hollow, N. Carolina) - ROUND 3 Very extreme conditions proved to be too challenging for most players today. High flyer Jared Keener could only put together a 76 which saw him drop 5 shots behind the leader. However, Bob Fletcher battled gamely against the elements to card his third 69 of the championship, a score that leaves him in a tie for 2nd, just one stroke off the pace. Round 4 promises to be fascinating...

2017 DP WORLD TOUR
Event 29 - US PGA CHAMPIONSHIP (at Quail Hollow, N. Carolina) - ROUND 4 Possibly the hardest conditions of the tourney, where birdies were hard to come by but dropped shots were plentiful. Going into the final round Bob Fletcher had high hopes of clinching his first ever Major title, but it wasn't to be and his 72 was only good enough to end the event in a tie for 5th, 3 strokes behind the winner. At halfway Jared Keener was very much in contention but, after he followed yesterday's 76 with a 79 today he looked totally shell-shocked. See you in Fiji next week...
