Test Event #2 - 1991 Memorial Tournament
I think this will be the final leaderboard as I'm not aware of anyone else playing this event. Looking at the scoring, I think we got the conditions pretty much spot on for this tourney.
Les Souter's very creditable 15th place, tied with names like Jack Nicklaus and Tom Watson, could have been higher but for an unfortunate run of four bogeys in his final round. Charlie finished one stroke back from Les, and was definitely in contention going into Round 4, but a stinker of a round put paid to any hopes of a win. Terry had a tourney of two halves, struggling badly in his first two rounds, then finding some great form for the last two - so much so that he recorded the joint best round score, a 63, in Round 3. Ian McKinley was a stroke further back but achieved his target, finishing under par for the event, mainly due to his third round 67. Ray Bradford found Muirfield Village a tough proposition, but he bravely stuck at it and carded an under par round on the second day, a 71. Randy Grant also found Muirfield Village difficult but he, too, managed an under par round, a 70 in Round 3. Bob Fletcher's game was in complete disarray, so much so that he walked off the 18th green in Round 4 without completing the hole and round. It just wasn't his week!

You do know that PLAYPGATOUR is a TGC2019 society don't you?! NOT 2K21!!
I tried searching for it and it came up fine!
So basically I need to be playing the other golf game in order to play in this particular society?

Yes mate, this society does not exist in 2K21, as far as I know, only in TGC 2019. And in case somebody is thinking about setting up the same kind of thing on 2K21, I may as well state that the idea behind the PLAYPGATOUR is my 'intellectual property', as they say...
I have to also say that things look very promising, can't wait until the tour proper begins on 4th January with the Los Angeles Open...

Welcome Martin - a fellow Led Zep fan, good to see!
Here is the 1985 PGA Championship Round 1 leaderboard from Cherry Hills - as far as I know I have included all the 'guest' rounds played so far, including the new guys. The Round 2 leaderboard will be posted tomorrow morning...

Test Event #3
Well, here they are, the final placings at Cherry Hills - and congratulations to CHARLIE ROBERTS for winning the 1985 PGA Championship!! Consistency was the key to Charlie's success, four steady rounds, and solid putting was a big contributor to his scoring. Four shots adrift of Charlie was Peter Piper (pep)whose second round 63 was the best of the event. He was a serious threat to Charlie's quest for the title but his challenge unravelled on the 17th in the final round - but the less said about that the better, it was still a very good performance! Martin Page (ZoSoSF) was the only other 'guest' to finish under par, and he ended the week tied for 5th, a very respectable position in what was not an easy week! We had 13 'guests' playing in this tourney, and I'd like to say a big welcome to the guys from the 'x Four Sticks x' Society who have opted to give PLAYPGATOUR a try - thanks a lot chaps! Good luck at Bethpage Black over the next three days - I gather it's already caused one or two problems!

The first tournament of the 1970 PGA TOUR, the Los Angeles Open, is underway at the Los Angeles Country Club! Here is the current Round 1 leaderboard and, as you can see, our intrepid band of 'guest' golfers are experiencing very mixed fortunes!! As you might expect on such a difficult course, and with such difficult conditions. Even Tony Jacklin could only muster a 72...

You have a pretty good society that would probably have more participation if you upgraded to the newer game.
I know I’d be part of it but I’m not going to go backwards and buy an older game. But I get the commitment to the 2019 game.

Well Zooby, I have 2K21 as well and will probably set up the same society on that platform at some stage - but not yet. I'm going to see how this pans out on 2019 first. After seeing how much scoring fluctuates in our first event I am seriously thinking about using a handicap system to level things out a bit, and to give everyone a chance to taste some glory. Not the in-game handicap system though. We used our own method on the Old Goats society and it worked very well, so it will be that one that will be used...

Hello mate - it's just on 2019 at the moment and was intended for just PC players, but I suspect we may have PS and/or XBOX players too possibly.
I'm almost certain that we'll introduce a handicap system (not the in-game one) after a few events to create a level playing field and negate any advantage that the PS and XBOX platforms may have. That should ensure that every player has a chance to compete and have a chance to taste some glory - just as it did on the Old Goats Society last year, when we had multiple winners, proving our system worked exceptionally well.
Hop aboard and give it a try!

I went to TGC 2019 game on xbox one typed in PLAYPGATOUR in the society search and got no results it said.

Hmmm interesting. A friend of mine joined the society last night with no problem, but he's using a PC. Maybe XBOX users can't join for some reason?!
Maybe someone here can provide an explanation...
