Had to chip on the green in round 3 on hole 11. I felt like it was justified. Clipped it just in case.

Looking forward to seeing the comments about this course. Same sh%$ different week, I'm pretty sure the majority are getting tired of it. Did you know it's now permanently hurricane season on the PGA Tour?

-14 through two so should be ok for the cut.
Hit it garbage in R1 and got away with it.
Hit it well in R2 and didn't take advantage.
Several clumsy episodes around the greens through the two rounds. Parred 16 twice, three putted 5. Chipped it over the 10th green in R1 for my only bogey.
I'll reserve comment on the course til i've finished. Fairly sure by the time i do others will have made all the comments i could make

I’m not sure what was worse. The lighting in rounds 2 and 3 (thought we were done @!$#ing w that) or the amount of times I hit trees from the fairway after my ball apexes.

67 Round 3. Probably under 50% of greens again.
The "highlight" was hitting a flop that pitched two yards short of the pin @ 16, into the wind, and STILL crawled past the pin and off the back of the green.
The worst kind of course. It prescribes the shot you must hit, and if you fail to land it within a 3 yard circle, you will end up off the green chipping/flopping. Zero strategy, Zero variety. But hey, the winner will be under -40 and that's all that counts eh?

I doubt the winner will be under -40, you'll always get someone out of the usual 3 or 4 suspects that manages to "navigate" their way round to an "unbelievable" score. Seems to be where we're headed with this new theme, make it harder for everyone to score but easier for the "elite" to win.

I've just hit it 20 feet left of the pin @ 7 in R4. Middle of the green. My reward? A putt that was virtually impossible to both get to the hole and keep on the green. I'd have been better off deliberately missing the green on approach.
Can anyone please explain to me how that is a good thing?

Finished with a 69 for a -20 total.
Little bit of everything. Double @ 2, a few chip ins (for pars) and an eagle at the last, with yet another putt that would have gone off the green had it not hit the hole even though i barely breathed on it.
A marquee event, with all the courses we have to choose from, and this is what we get. Just bizarre
