Hello Goats, We are currently creating a Tour Schedule for the society and we will be using this thread to announce things in the future please watch this space. Bob Fletcher has already started putting the courses etc together and we should have a schedule up in the not to distant future.

This is the New Age of The Old Goats!!
Watch out for our 'Old Goats World Tour' golfing schedule, hopefully to be published in the next couple of weeks!! One handicapped four-round event each week. Points to be awarded depending on finishing position in each event - and one of our members has generously offered to present a substantial Amazon gift card to the leading points winner at season's end!!
Another idea I had was to initiate a 'Stableford Match League' (for Old Goats), where members play each other in a 9-hole stableford format. Everyone plays one match per week on a course and conditions decided on by Admin, and all Old Goats report the final stableford score to me. Results to be published here, together with an ongoing league table, on a weekly basis.
So keep an eye on this thread for further news...

Well, that's looking good Goaties! I especially like the handicapped tournament, giving everybody a fair chance to excel each on their own level. Will be looking out for that.

- Cypress Point Club (Lidar) Tour
- The Dukes @ Woburn GC
- The Belfry - Brabazon RC

This is to announce that the first event, the LEAPING GOAT CLASSIC, of the Old Goats World Tour begins on Monday 27th January and lasts for 7 days, as will all events.
Conditions for the 4 rounds have been set, and the event will take place at the Commonwealth County Club.
A points system for earnings has been produced, and I will post a table here after each event has concluded showing ongoing earnings, and possibly other stuff.
Please note that ALL events will be handicapped, which should make it interesting...
