The first event of the newly formed OLD GOATS WORLD TOUR begins in a few hours!!
1. LEAPING GOAT CLASSIC Our opening venue is the fictional Commonwealth Country Club, designed by Chuck Gunsaullus. Set in Virginia pines, Commonwealth Country Club is an exclusive golf retreat for the best players. With water in play on all but three holes, there is plenty of trouble to get in. Hopefully we will have a good turnout, and the fact that these events are handicapped makes it impossible to predict who will do well and who won't!!

You would need to ask someone who plays on PS4 to set up an identical society on PS4, with all the same messages and rules posted on the front page, and then communicate with them each time you start a new tournament, telling them which course, duration, and settings for each round. Correct! These are going to be 'live' 9-hole matches with both players trying to score more Stableford points than their opponent to win the match.

Goats are very social creatures and live in groups called herds, which may contain as many as 20 goats in the wild, according to National Geographic (21 Oct 2015)

Any course created on any platform can be played on any other platform. Societies are not cross platform, so unless you're on PC you won't see "The Old Goats" Society. TGC Tours sort of gets around this by making the leaderboards hosted here cross platform, but they are getting an API from HB Studios that helps them do this. It also takes extra effort on behalf of the TGC Tours staff to make this work. When you play a TGC Tours Society event, you'll still only see the scores for your given platform on the in-game leaderboard. The only place you'll see the amalgamated leaderboard is via the given Tour's link here on this website. It's always amazed me how fast those scores get posted here though. It's as good a system as they could have under the current limitations. |

Finished at 10 under par, joint top with Les, can't figure out the handicap system but I presume it takes shots away on the easier holes on the shot index?
Enjoyed it though looking forward to next week.
