That's not a fair comment mate.. Only one person has a fix.. No one else I apologize and would like to retract what I said. Simply my frustration in what I see as a random variable that has cost me on tour. Steve says that he is looking into the problem, and I am sure he will post a fix should he find one. This likely explains Steve's post about how he managed to 'fix' a game bug on his end without a game patch. And Taste's post about the non-level playing field, as now a 'secret' was discovered to eliminate it. I don't understand this. How could Steve 'fix' anything if it is as a result of a backswing? People anyway concentrate on trying to get both a straight backswing as well as downswing. mystery |

I just want to say one last time, that Backswing and ball squirt is not connected. I am not saying backswings do not effect the overall swing, but I am saying that if one has ball squirt it does not mean his backswing was bad. these two are not linked, i dont care what anyone says otherwise, its 100% true when i say backswing is not the cause of ball squirts. if you still wish to deny this, then so be it, can't sell a mouse some cheese if he really wants peanut butter. How can you tell when you have no visual reference to see what your back swing is? |

Just a little update that might help consoles, different for every router, but you can try punching a pin hole in your router firewall for the device you are playing the game with. I'm trying to find the exact ports the game uses, so you can make the pin holes smaller, but for now you can try punching the hole and see if it helps or not. Seeing as there are 10 million routers I obviously cannot give any more details. You can also do this with your PC, but with PC make sure you have a software firewall and have give the golf club permission.

Not sure what you exactly mean by this.. are you suggesting making a port directly for Steam and only steam? I know you can setup a range of ports for most programs... that is what I do for things like EverQuest to ensure downloads come down faster. |

Just played a tourney round with your fix. I would say probably 95% of the ball squirt is gone. I did see it on two holes from the tee where the ball leapt one way and the wind brought it back, but that was it. I'm very happy about this.
