Listen I do not take issue with you or many in this thread, My inbox is filling nicely as well. There are people in this thread I would, only over my dead rotting corpse, share my info with. But the info is so simple I know it would spread like wild fire to people who have absolutely no business ever knowing the info. So unfortunately for now at least, nice people like you have to suffer not knowing for now. I'm sorry for that. If HBS ever got around to responding honestly about the issue and asked the same questions in a respectful manner and not just spewed lies and fairy tales, I would help them fix it for everyone.
So I'm wait and see for the moment at least. Patience please.I hope you realise that is this obviously completely unacceptable for having a competitive and honest TGCTours? |

No one else I apologize and would like to retract what I said. Simply my frustration in what I see as a random variable that has cost me on tour. Steve says that he is looking into the problem, and I am sure he will post a fix should he find one. |

I just want to say one last time, that Backswing and ball squirt is not connected.
I am not saying backswings do not effect the overall swing, but I am saying that if one has ball squirt it does not mean his backswing was bad.
these two are not linked, i dont care what anyone says otherwise, its 100% true when i say backswing is not the cause of ball squirts.
if you still wish to deny this, then so be it, can't sell a mouse some cheese if he really wants peanut butter.

I know for a fact, 1000% sure that I have hit a driver dead straight in the cone, from the tee area, wind coming from 6:00, and had the ball miss 20 yards left. The ball started way off line, and the result was a double bogey, a missed cut....aaaaaaaand a sore hand after I abused my desk. |

Just enrolled in a clinical study for ball squirts. Half the group is given a placebo, while the other half is given medication. Although I don't know which group I am in, I would be happy to update you guys on my progress in rectifying my case of ball squirts.

Don't close this, we still need help here big time, and this discussion needs to be focussed to fixing this, not whether or not it exists. Ok well I guess you have all stewed long enough, plus it's nap time for me. Here's my fix. First let me state it's not fixed it's just better and much closer to offline play. The game is clearly better offline then online but not perfect, but better. Reason some of you did not see it, is because I do not believe the game offline menu truly takes it offline completely. Try going completely offline and check it out. Knowing that lets look at the connection, we connect to game, game to steam, steam to HBS and then a return trip. Console same but skip steam insert Live etc. Using what we already know, the problem has to be network related, I have already determined it is not related to traffic, so it must be related to the data. Data usually corrupts through conversion compression etc. So all I did was, and only because I could, was change the protocol used to connect to steam in hopes that is the same protocol steam connects to HBS. PC Users change your steam link on your desktop to "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\Steam.exe" -tcp The game gets better but still not perfect and closer to offline mode. Console users is a little more complicated, and this is where we need community help big time. support.xbox.com/en-CA/xbox-360/networking/network-ports-used-xbox-live, someone need check PS4 but it likely is possible in your router to change your connect to tcp as well. I believe it is helping lower maybe some compression issues. So the thread continues, but hopefully now we can work together on this common goal and fix it for everybody. |

just to clarify in case anyone is confused
-tcp is what you need to be adding to the end of your steam shortcut. not all of us have the same pathway to the steam folder as steve, so please do not assume you do and simply copy and paste the entire thing.
just add
to the end of your shortcut.

for the record, i have not had the first ball squirt since adding this fix yesterday, just played some random courses, including another round at the trump course that everyone is getting ball squirt destroyed on.
