ohheycat I will likely publishing on the 1st as I will be unavailable after the 3rd and for the reminder of the publishing window. I am on XB and would be able to do the 1st or 2nd, 9:30ET is good with me, I'm in CST. I'll let you know when I publish. Not sure if my headset is going to cooperate with chat, I guess we'll cross that bridge when we get there. Had a lot of fun with this contest. Learned some things along the way.

The date of first publish is fast approaching! I've been just low key watching and seeing how things are going for guys. We are likely going to be one or two short but not because of people just giving up but due to outside circumstances that took them off the board. I know there have been questions about required elements and the like...but I have kind of let what's out there stand on its on for a reason. I don't want to overly define the parameters because I don't want to stifle creativity. If you believe that the hole you have designed meets the required element then simply say so and if you feel it needs to be explained then provide that explanation. There is not a hard and fast way to accomplish the elements. It's up to you to do it and do it well. Rest assured that if something was not SPECIFIED as a requirement or given as direction you are free to do what you like. It won't count against you unless it's done poorly or is...well...stupid. HA! AS you publish please create a thread in the Completed works area and post in your WIP thread that it is published (perhaps with a helpful link to the completed course thread). In that thread please specify any tees you are using for CC competition if you need to (not required) as well as the three holes you want to be judged for the required elements and what required element each of those holes is fulfilling. If you believe further explanation of that hole/element is needed you may provide it. If you have a specific question about a hole/element combo then PM me. Remember, the basic points for meeting the required elements are not gained, but they can be lost if it's not done well or if it's only partially accomplished. Bonus points are awarded for especially creative or outstanding execution of the required element. (this is outlined in the first post of this thread) Finish strong gents! I am looking forward to playing through the courses and maybe giving a few chuckles along the way.  |

Is it acceptable to publish 2.0 versions of our courses once we've received all the dumpster fire comments and suggestions to make the course better?
I'm working on my Stony Point GC V2.0.. Likely won't publish until after results are in..

I should get some info to start announcing in the next few days. Judges are to be done with the rankings by the 5th then we’ll sort out the top ten or so
