Official TGC Tours decision: Unfortunately, we can’t allow ports or WIPS in any contest. That’s a slippery slope that might be helpful for some, but becomes inequitable to most very quickly. OK Eric, thanks for the reply. I won't enter then as I don't want to enter only to find out I won't be able to finish it in time. I started The Swiss Wall, my current WIP, three months ago and while I'm taking my time and care with every aspect I'm still only on the 12th. Granted, I'm not devoting practically all my limited free time to it like I did with Northwood Golf Club on the last rookie design contest, but it's an indication I either won't have time to complete, or will publish a rushed entry. I'm not prepared to take a spot that somebody else can make better use of. It wouldn't be fair on the 31st 'entrant' should I have got in.

Can someone in the US just confirm for me that there's no time changes between now and May 1st? I think I need to set my alarm for shortly before 5am BST (in the UK) to make sure I'm in, but would be grateful if someone could double check that...

Is a blank plot of land considered a WIP? I like to create blank plots with only some global terrain sculpts so I can just start routing and creating when I actually start designig a course for the plot.

This might be the most stupid question ever to be asked on here but here goes.....how would you know if a work in progress was used? Is there anyway for you guys to know? Or do you trust the honesty of the designers? Thanks
