I’m truly honored with a 4th place finish in this field, no sour grapes from me. The courses that were top 2 were perfect for a suspenseful finish, as both were amazing and deserving of a win. Congratulations Dario!

Couldn't have said it better myself, Matt. Definitely got to throw in a shoutout to our judging coordinator PithyDoctorG, along with our judges: catcherman22 CiB0RG ddixjr509 coruler2 joegolferg mrooola mrvinegar206 rhino4life reebdoog Violinguy69 for the yeoman's job they did. They took their task seriously and volunteered a number of long hours through this process. Judging a contest takes as long (if not longer) than designing a course for a contest, and I appreciate all the work they put in behind the scenes. For tonight, I want to take Reeb, Pithy and Crazycanuck1985 for helping to pull off a great broadcast that I hoped gave our contestants the props the so very much deserved. Great job everyone and congrats again to Dario, Susquehannock will be a wonderful venue for the U.S. Open!

The most difficult course won. Great to see! Really looking forward to the US Open where there's no chance anyone shoots -50 or better. Awesome stuff.

Congrats to Dario on the win, and to everyone in the top5 for making it that far. Lots of incredible courses put out by the design community once again. Looking forward to scheduling some of these venues for upcoming events!

I've been following this contest with interest and have played most of the courses. The standard has been superb, I can see most (if not all) of these courses ending up on tour somewhere. That plus the mutual respect shown by all the competitors and the excellent way the contest was run, pats on the back and high fives all round!
For me Susquehannock was the one that most felt like a US Open course, a deserving winner in a very strong field.

Wow
First of all, very well done Jeremy, one of the best run contests I've been involved in, congrats my friend
Dario, congratulations on building a superb course. Solid winner and really deserved #1 spot
To the rest of the field. I'm amazed, I can think of more than 10 entries in this contest that, if had won the whole thing, I wouldn't be surprised. That's how deep I feel the panel of entries was. Well done guys

Congrats Jeremy and judges for first class competition. Congrats Dario for winning with superb course. Would like thank all competition there would not be designer comp without all above and designers.
Great show last night goto admit was half expecting a joke about dangers my bunkers lol. On serious note for me was steep learning curve, the pressure to deadlines. The difficulty to set Conditions which caught a few out. Myself I made few errors looking back go you numbskull you never do that. Whether might threatened a top 10 if not done transition error, missed placing rough at tenth and couple sightlines I missed on 18. I was just happy be in the competition against some of best designers this game got.
Not put me off from entering in future far from it. It's like drug you now want to improve try aim for top 10 spot.

Thank you to everyone involved in this contest, be it as a contestant or in running it. It was an honor to compete with all this talent, someday maybe I'll be good enough to say I belong with this elite group.

I didn't want to say anything but that was like the second course I played and it was my pick to win by like the 9th hole. Anyway, it was fun, didn't do as well as I hoped but didn't get egg on my face either, so, I see this as an absolute win!

It got tough as we got toward the end, but we were able to hash it out pretty well. I enjoyed reading other judges comments and a few even changed my mind about a course or two. In the end, as you all can see, it was really close but Dario's course fit the US Open mold (IMO) better. Petty's course is outstanding and he has nothing to be ashamed of at all. Except for another 2nd place finish. <snort>
