Same comments as with Vlad, Dylan - the two of you have really set the bar high for newbies in these competitions in terms of bold ideas and execution. Definitely echo the point about not being too hard on yourself; from what I can see, it won't be long until you're progressing much further in these competitions.

I want to thank everyone in the contest and the people judging/running it as well. I want to thank the judges for being really honest in their reviews and I want to thank everyone who’s supported me throughout the contest. Thank you Mr. Mayo for having me in the contest this year, it was an amazing experience and it wouldn’t be the same without everyone being so supportive. I do want to announce that yes, I am going to study golf course architecture and Meteorology as majors at either Rutgers or Trinity College in Ireland. Can’t wait to push out my new masterpiece in the CC contest for you guys! Cheers! Hang your head high on your performance here Dylan. You did a great job, well done! I have a feeling we will be seeing a lot of great things from you in the future. Keep up the great work!!

It couldn't handle the sheer awesomeness of the course and the difficulty of the green design. Judging is completely subjective, obviously, but to me personally this one is one of the best I've played in TGC. I don't come across too many courses that have hole locations that are tucked, with small and nuanced greens that rival this one. Please keep designing more like this. Thanks for the support, Mr. Logan. This course is hopefully something I can show as potential for my future. Thanks for welcoming me with open arms!

I'll be honest, empire pines was possibly my favourite course in this competition and I was ready to say why I disagree with this decision, BUT, I think the comments were actually very fair. Maybe a touch more variety, some holes with wider fairways and different strategic styles could've "improved" the course. I didn't personally find it a drag to play as the rounds went on; a long course, with narrow fairways, where accuracy is the key attribute required? For a US open? Yep, sounds about right. But I still hear where the judges are coming from... But I'd better see some VERY convincing reasons for how there were ten courses better than this!

I totally agree with the judges here in this one but I’m glad you picked up on the US open ideas! Cheers, lad!

Just want to say a big thank you to mayday_golf83 and all of the judges. It's been fun competing in this contest and although I didn't finish where I would of liked, I believe I have still reached my goal of learning more from the designer and bettering myself along the way I would love to read the judges comments if you could send them to me please Dan PithyDoctorG It's one of the main reasons I enter contests like this, to get the feedback to help better myself Just a final note. Good Luck to all still left, sooooo many amazing courses, everyone deserves a pat on the back!

I’m keeping you all in suspense, aren’t I 😂
Actually had to head in to work early today, so didn’t have a chance to post the course. I will do that when I get home, so look for today’s course somewhere in the 4 p.m. ET hour.
