Great job to both finalists. 2 AWESOME courses! Congrats to ryanmcconnell for edging out Muir Wood in a battle that could have gone either way obviously. Thanks to Patrick ErixonStone for running this contest. I personally thoroughly enjoyed being a part of it and glad I entered. Big thanks to the judges as well. I only know a few of them that were a part of it, but all of them deserve our thanks for volunteering their time to further help the community. The only bit of constructive criticism I would give is that this contest lasted what felt like a month too long. Shortening up the rounds in some way shape or form I think would keep the interest of the community whether in the contest or not. Other then that, I think it was very well run. |

Congrats to ryanmcconnell on a very well built course and a deserved title of Rookie Competition Winner! Thanks to ErixonStone for organizing and running and all of the judges, anonymous or not, who put in the time to put this together. You have inspired a new generation of designers hopefully to hone their skills and add to the community. I'd say that's a win no matter what!! |
