The extremely tightly-routed course coaxes players into biting off more than they can chew and punishes those who make mistakes. Platinum Point presents a wide-open challenge that demands players pick the best line off the tee while openly encouraging players to "go for it" throughout the round. The designers of both courses made excellent use of objects available in the designer, presented excellent sight lines, and combined lighting and texture to display the courses' magnificence. What set the courses apart and determined a winner were top-notch sculpting and neatness combined with the use of objects large and small. For those reasons, the winner of this matchup is Muir Woods Golf Club. As with several other matchups, determining a winner was a stiff challenge and required extra play-throughs and debate. In the end, Muir Woods offered a look and feel that is unique within the community while meticulously arranging surfaces and objects. 2 | Muir Woods Golf Club | 88.2 | 3 | Platinum Point | 85.8 |
Winner: Muir Woods Golf Club (SkinniePost)Congratulations to SkinniePost for reaching the Finals where Muir Woods will take on The Dunes at Lake Marie!

Congrats to SkinniePost & commiserations to beef. Wasn't a judge on this matchup and I'm kind of glad it wasn't as these were the Nos. 1 and 2 courses in the entire competition, in my opinion -- which has no bearing on the final round as I'm not assigned to that matchup, before anyone tries to read anything into that Guys, if you want my notes, hit me up in the DMs. You probably asked for them at some point, but I have CRS, and 59 pages is a helluva lot to try to look through to figure out who wanted what. Looks like we'll have an excellent final between Skinnie & ryanmcconnell. Good luck and may the best course win!

Firstly, congratulations to SkinniePost. A well deserved finalist, I can have no complaints and good luck to you and ryanmcconnell in the final. Two phenomenal courses, you only have to look at the reaction from the community to these two tracks to see what the rest of us were up against. For Platinum Point to get so many plays, positive feedback and comments, have hb put it on their matchmaking rota, finish ahead of many great courses in this competition and possibly earn a spot on tour has exceeded all my expectations for my first course. Thanks again to ErixonStone for running this competition and to mayday_golf83 and the other judges for their time and work on this. I'll take all the judging notes you have.

The winner will be announced before the end of the year. Whether it's this one or the next one I don't know.
