For me it would be great if the different tours would have different rules. The PGA Tour would have the most difficult rules with no grid, no scout and no wind display, the European Tour could add the wind display back again, the Web.com Tour add the grid back again and in the Champions Tour everything is available as it is now. I really would like it that way. how big do you want the field to be? i can't see players staying for that. personally, i dont like playing without wind indicator, because even in real life, i know how hard its blowing and what direction is blowing in, maybe not exactly, but pretty damn close. take that away, .....and its just a guessing game, not skill.

Wind display is tricky because i can't make the skin on my body feel anything in the game. In real life, I can get a good idea of the wind because I can feel it. Skin is a pretty good body tool for feeling stuff I'd like to see a range of wind speed, not the exact number. Like it would be if I was feeling it on my skin and I'd be "ok, that's about 10-12, maybe gusted up to 15". the display could say "10-15mph" and it could be anywhere in that range.

The size of the filed could be a problem, yes, I agree. I had the same thoughts about the wind indicator. Then just bring it back for the PGA, but the rest would bring some really nice addition to the game. Many people complaining that the games doesn't play like real life, but the exact same people play with all options on. i don't get it.

Ppl didn't like redwood cause it's too long, yet ppl want longer courses, what gives? Well, theres a difference between a long course, that plays tough but fair, and Redwood, that is just stupid, with bs pins, and bs holes, like nr3 and nr5... Thats where I left of, after those Island fairways.

I liked the SIM mode in TW. Par felt really nice, let alone birdey I'm all in for an -extra- tour/tournament with all/most of the options turned off.

Yes, I couldnt reach the one the left, had headwind, so I had to use a mid-iron to a green on the right, and then a long iron to a FW on the left, and then somewhere to the green... Hole 3 was a par 5, I think, about 550 yards or something. Drive out, then I had to lay up with a SW, as it was 300+ yards to the green over water, so no-go. it was not good... Sorry.

The Pin A version of Powderfinger is the kind of difficulty level i think the top tours should be every week.
Look at the leaderboard. 65 is a very good score and even the very best players can only do low 60's (with the odd exception).
It's a game, so the scores will always be lower than RL but i think anywhere between 20-35 under as a winning total should be the target. Needing to do 11 under on average just to make the cut is a bit silly.
Not easy i appreciate - there's only so many courses.

You just see the direction, so yes the first shot is kind of a lottery. In real life you would be able to tell if it is heavy wind or not, so therefore I would suggest to leave it like it is. But I also like the idea of nevadaballin where you can see a range of max. and min. wind.

I wouldn't have a problem with no scout. The putting would be difficult on no grid. I've tried it and it seems like i'd just be guessing.

Ok, I had to play on. Hole 11 and 12 was good infact. 11 a medium long par 5, over water. Hole 12 a short par 3, with severe slopes, but still ok.

If it had been a forced layup whereever before the green, I wouldnt mind.

Sorry. what course were you playing? cause you were not playing redwood if those figures are correct. you must have played that hole totally wrong. that green is reachable in 2 shots from the furthest tee box. in fact, you can hit a 6 iron from the furthest tee off the tee and still get green in 2 shots, without even using any woods.
