The tournaments in real life, the guys dont post -57 to win a tourney. Theres plenty of tough courses out there that we should play rather than courses that produce 50 something every round these guys play. I dont know what we find fun in shooting that low on a course cause its so easy.

Why does it matter what the scores are?until we get control over wind for tounements, scores will remain lower than some would like

The courses and course creator is good i think its the game that is way too easy with said clubs and you get too accurate information and your skill with the analogue swing dosent matter.. I fail to see that people cant see this its beyond me.. I dont understand why HB made this game like this?

If you are birding every hole almost and you still might not win the tourney then I think that should be addressed. Definitly shouldnt be no 55s and 54s getting posted all the time like it is. Im just stating my opinion that flat greens and -18 isnt what I look foward to in this game.

Im a real avid golfer along with many others here Im sure, I just dont go play the local city course that i can shoot a 66 on without having to really hit a shot. Id much rather shoot a couple under on a tough course.

No a course with distance and sloped greens isnt gonna produce 50 somethings. The wind aint really even a factor in this game, thats simple has moving left and right and up and down clubs.

Plenty of season left to play some hard ones and then have people post about wanting to play easier courses

@gringo
What difference does it make? It's not real golf. The best guys, whom are shooting in the 50s now, will still win and the rest of will be shooting mid 60s and 70s. It makes no difference in the outcome unless all you care about are realistic scores. Again, this is recliner golf.
Btw, if you don't think wind is a factor in the game, you're one helluva golfer my friend.

Just need some courses that play a little longer for video game purposes. Make people start having to go to their longer irons more often so that the pinpoint accuracy of mid iron lofts and short iron flop/pitches do not come into play as often as they do now. I'm urging all course designers to stretch it out just another 25 yds on whatever your original thought for a hole was. Was going to go 425? Make it 450.
I can't argue against the point of the OP. We're going to see a cut line at Coyote probably in the -20's. I'm seeing guys consistently hanging -15's for oen round in practice. And I can't blame the studio because of wind implementation. But course designers can't make a difference just by stretching the distances a little bit. Now please don't go extreme on me and start talking about 700 yd par 5's because that's just dumb. Stay within the framework of what I said if it's to be replied to.
Might be time to evaluate what makes a "pro course" on a tour circuit as opposed to a nice course to play at. I created PGC at Alamosa Springs to be a more difficult course for Tourney play. I don't think it got a fair review at all (in fact I thought it was rushed without interest in it at all) and I hope others take a look at it. The "can you mow that?" thing kinda made me laugh. Hell yea i can mow that. It's 2015, we can mow anything, including difficult heavy rough (look at the present day PGA and Euro courses - they do it).
Anyways, got a little sidetracked, sorry. Again, I'm calling on all designers to stretch it out just a little bit. Some people are trying to compensate by going with cart path wide fairways, but that isn't the answer to the short iron accuracy.

I didnt say HB sucks, this game is nice and the best golf game thats ever been created. All Im saying is the 7,000 yard courses with flat greens isnt enticing to me. I was shooting -17 on those the first week i bought the game. All i was saying is we should look into tougher courses cause im sure the guys that keep shooting fifty something every round get bored with having a 95 yard sand wedge and a 6 foot birdie on every hole.

Agree the greens need to get to PGA/Euro Pro level. Hopefully designers are watching where the pros are playing and noting that the greens are tough. Red lines exist in the real world but they need to be placed well.

The problem with longer courses is the wind. You get in the face wind and people will say it's not realistic or fair etc. I would like the loft taken out of the loft clubs. So if I'm 18 yards, keep the distance at 30 or 45 and so we have to do a partial swing. That will make it tougher rather than lofting the club all the way to 20 and swing away at 100%. Same with the chip, don't have a 4YRD chip, a 5YRD chip, 6YRD chip etc. Maybe those aren't realistic things but it would make things tougher.
In any event the top players will still be at the top and the bottom players will still be at the bottom. The gap might even get bigger when the game gets tougher..
I wonder if different pins would make it harder?
