CGib2 Thank you for the kind words, I do appreciate it! moneyman273 As always, thanks for setting this all up for us to enjoy (and occasionally lament) and being so vigilant about updates/highlights/information! My day job is a web developer - been at it for 20 years, give or take ... was going to offer my services if you had any need of a web-based interface for inputting all that data (could also include screenshot uploads, etc.) ... and, I'm still happy to do so, if you have any ideas on what you'd like to have ... or, at the very least, I can convert that fancy new spreadsheet into a web format with a user-friendly menu, etc. Regardless, just drop me a line and/or throw me some ideas if you'd like to explore it as an option for next season! Cheers all! Brian, Theopen, Congratulations again. and, it is befitting that the #1 player for 24K won the Championship. I knew my only hope was that you brought your “B” game, and I played flawlessly. Unfortunately for me, you played like a Champion, and, I can honestly say, the better player won. Well played, and enjoy your trip to Disneyworld....I think that’s what moneyman273 was offering for the winner🤣🤣

Thoughts to conclude season 6:

Hey all. Hope you're doing well! Welcome to the "off season"! A few thoughts as we conclude the run of TGC 2019 and transition to PGA 2K21. I welcome ANY OF YOU to discuss your thoughts and ideas in this thread. That being said, there will be no toleration for comments not related to this tournament or complaints about other players or how I've run the tournament previously. Bottom line? Respect others and their ideas if you choose to comment!
1) I did think of maybe running some "exhibition" events up and until the release of the new game. This isn't going to happen. Vacations are probably occurring for some (including myself) and I think now will be a good time to update you all on some ideas.
2) Barring any unforeseen circumstances, I fully intend to run a season 7 on the new game and have (hopefully) MANY new participants. It was a struggle for me to keep at the 36 players for season 6.
3) There WILL be a recruitment thread posted after release of the game (you'll all be informed) and will require information that may ask for any updated information we'd need based on the new game. (Tagging you all wasn't a "you playing season 7 or not" tag. It's just to keep you all informed as to changes in the event you wish to play season 7).
3) 24K will be MUCH more interactive regarding statistics (schedule, win/loss record, individual scores, toughest course based on scores submitted, etc). I owe ALL of this effort to my good friend Paul thetaffman who, when compared to me, is a technical genius when it comes to spreadsheets. Season 7 WILL HAVE A SPREADSHEET with a ton of amazing information and stats because, who doesn't like stats? Does it mean that screenshots are still required? Does it mean that this tournament will still be offline and non-society? I'm not sure yet. Paul, I welcome you to post in the thread information on your spreadsheet and what we have discussed, because the statistics make me very excited to continue this team tournament and individual knockout tournament!
4) What will the new game bring? This is the unknown. Here's a few of my concerns: I've always pushed the "honor code" in 24K. I believe in my heart that this has been followed very well (maybe some little white lies thrown in!) but I have concerns that 2K21 will have so MANY options that the "honor code" may suffer more chinks in the armor. So, does this mean I make this society based? How many societies are players able to have (just one per TGC2019?) or more? Who will be my trusted people that are ready and willing to do this on each platform? One of the things that is great about non-Society is the flexibility I can give to people who may need an "extension" of time on my score deadline. No extensions allowed in societies. Furthermore, and I'm going on assumption here, each platform administrator has the ability to "lock" certain settings in. I'm just not sure how this will work out at this time to be honest.
So, lets keep in touch and chat, shall we? Your ideas and thoughts are more than welcome for all of us to hear.
Look forward to what you have planned for the next season Jason. Massive respect to you for running a very popular event 👍

Thank you Jason, As Jason has stated above, over the past few months I have been working in the background trying to make his life 100 times easier by producing a spreadsheet for him which does 95% of everything for him. Its quite a big spreadsheet with lots of information, probably too much, but if you love a good stat, then this is the one for you. Ideally we would still like to see screenshots, especially if it is decided not to play this within a society, as it makes finding a score much easier for either myself or Jason to input your score. It's not that we don't trust you guys (and gals, if we have any), it's just that everybody can then see the score and know what they have to do to win, but really until we get 2K21 in our hands and see what it can and can't do it's all up in the air .... will they allow Stableford Societies or even Team Societies, we know as much as you do. We will be having on the spreadsheet the following - Up to date match-ups, scores and tables
- Weekly course details, so you don't have to go hunting for them in the posts
- Course stats, best round, average round to par
- Individual player stats, total score over all the rounds, average weekly round score
- Average team score, average weekly winning and losing team score
There are probably some more which I can't think of from the top of my head. I will post a link to what has been produced for Season 6, so that people can see and get an idea of what it will look like for Season 7. Here is the link to the 24k Season 6 Spreadsheet 24k Season 6 Spreadsheet
Any questions, queries or if there is anything missing or something we can add, change and will benefit 24K, please feel free to tell us and we will do our best to get it sorted.

A+ Paul. If anyone can think of any more beneficial/cool stats that could be tracked, let him know.

2K21 pre ordered means I should be ready from day one and hopefully will be better than last season?? Good work on the spreadsheets thetaffman , fingers a bit sore from keep having to scroll down to the bottom.

Good work on the spreadsheets thetaffman , fingers a bit sore from keep having to scroll down to the bottom. I can look at a way to maybe have a filter so you can find your name, that can be the issue of having nearly 40 competitors and potentially more next season. I will though look at adding what console people are playing on.

Looks good. Previously I have just colour coded consoles. Green Xbox. Blue PS. Red PC. but I found I wasn't using that info for much apart from formulating teams which when you are using handicaps and previous performance stats makes platform unrelatable.
Just for info is fine though.
Great spreadsheet.

Who knows, maybe in 2k22 we can have cross platform societies, I can deal with not having cross platform live matches, but societies is a must personally.

Noone has said they WONT be capable of doing them yet though? Fingers crossed. I'd love to be able to setup the Society for Stableford on my Xbox and anyone on any platform play it.

First thanks for the update Jason. As always you do a great with the societies you run. Great spreadsheet thetaffman. Enjoyed looking at all the info and seeing my name at the bottom of most of the sheets! I will be looking forward to future posts...
