Absolutely this^^^^^
The voice of the few complaining will always be heard much louder than the silence of the many who don't mind. That's how it works. Please do not cave in for the few who complain each week that it is too hard, too easy, low scoring, greens too hard/firm/fast/sloped.
Personally, I view the Web Tour as a professional tour which to me means a tougher test each week. I would rather see the winner be in the -20's than have people missing the cut at -18 or winning at -50. Maybe one of those every once and awhile but in general, tougher courses are preferred (by me at least).
No matter which way you go, people will always complain. The funny thing is, sometimes they are the same person complaining.

I prefer the harder courses myself as you get rewarded for your good shots and it would be great if scores mirrored real life but it's just not possible in the game without tricking up the landing areas/pin positions to supress the scores. Not a huge fan of the birdie fest courses where a 61 or 62 is losing shots to the field but there is no harm in having a mix of courses.

I agree - the mix is good. And I also like the idea of a PGA/EURO caliber course where the cut line is more around Even par. People will complain about anything you put up there to play, so ignore all that please! I always say I don't do well on the birdie-fest courses because I don't do well when a par feels like a mistake. But I realized I also don't do well on the tough courses because I crumble under pressure and can't putt to save my life. So it's not the courses for me, I just stink I've liked the selections so far. I think some holes have been a little bit on the wacko side, but we all have to play the same track so you won't hear me complaining. I'm sitting on the cut line now at -18 and pretending to be sad that Dean (@dh-nufc) didn't make it this week.

I like harder courses, i like easy courses, what i don't like is crap greens where tge pin is cut on a slope. Don't mind a slope but not where the hoke is. Personally id narrow the fairways to make people more accurate off the tee

I'd rather see a combination f different course set ups (pins tees wind) and stronger winds than narrower fairways and slopier greens.
When its the same each round, it's easy to know where to hit each shot.

I love those who chastise others for their opinions, "complainers" and then provide their own opinion. LOL.

Easy man, I don't think anyone was singling out anybody. Also, nowhere did anyone state constructive opinions were bad.
For me, I am talking about the folks who's only comment is, this course sucks because it is too hard/too easy/everyone's better/greens are unfair/blah blah blah and offer no good solutions and constructive criticism of the course or course selection. I get that not everyone is going to enjoy every course during the season, I just don't think those people get it. They want each week to fit their exact "perfect course" specifications except they have no idea what that is.

Tough luck DH, I definitely thought cut would be more like -16.
Did a quick check of the stats for the last 2 tourneys doing a simple average Harvest Avg putts - 1.42 Driving 93% GIR 88
Oktoberfest Avg putts -1.49 Driving 73% GIR 67%
Oktoberfest had a lot more places you could get into trouble... Harvest was relatively simple to get from tee to green, so I think your not seeing a lot of people put up high scores and ends up being whoever can jam their putts in.
I'd guess that Oktoberfest at 73% driving average is one of the lowest we've had on tour recently.
Yeah Oktoberfest's stats are very very similar to the Tee to green stats of real life tour pros. Would be good to have courses like that each week but some people moaned and will moan that the fairways aren't realistic sized etc, even though they give out more realistic results. Be interesting to see what you webbers prefer? Realistic sized fairways with 90%+ hit or unrealistic sized fairways with real to life 70% hit? Vote me in for the harder the better! I'd even take unrealistic and unfair than too easy personally.

18 under going into the last I felt I needed a birdie to ensure I made the cut. Drove well leaving a 195 yard shot into that 2 tiered green. I knew if I could keep it on the top tier I'd be OK and I played to within 10 feet to make the birdie that secured my place in the remainder of the tournament. A relieved man. Sorry to you guys on 18 under. Just pushed you one place closer to the chop ;-)

There needs to be 6 more people that score -19 or better at this point to displace the gigantic group of players sitting at -18 (I think there were 18 last I counted). It's still Wednesday, so the 4 people sitting at -8 & -9 after the first round as well as the 2 dozen people that have yet to tee off could come in and break some hearts sometime in the next 34 hours.

Yeah you just never know what could happen, it does look likely though that 5 guys from those yet to tee off could finish -19 or better just looking at the rankings there are 9-10 guys in the top 300 at the top of that list alone. Oh and nice birdie on 18 wildzombie, knowing you needed one to make the cut takes guts.

I vote for the harder the better to. my best round is like 61 and everyone shoots like way better on easy courses except me LOL still think i should not be here but i do in joy the competition hope some time i can shoot the below 60. i always get some bad holes where i get a boggy or 3 i liked the course but just can't do the birdie birdie birdie thing so lets keep it on the hard side so my boggies don't look so bad. great shooting everyone see you next week

After an Eagle on 1.. I brain farted a shot into the water on 2 and made double. That should have been my clue that I needed to not play round 3 today. Continued on anyway and hacked my way around to a 65. I don't usually make mental mistakes like that, but I had a few this round, including hitting a full lw instead of a pitch lw on 17... not hitting putts hard enough etc.
Gonna go forget about that round and see if I can put together a decent 4th round tomorrow to get myself back into top 30 territory.
