I think -18 will get you though which is a real shame as that means Yaters gets through and ties me 2-2. He'll also surely go ahead of me in the money list too. I'm so happy I can go on this stag do and forget everything here for a few days!!! I got 100% driving accuracy and missed 5 greens in total for the first two rounds. That sounds like a good performance but I missed out even on the cut.
In terms of course difficulty, I'm happy with tighter fairways especially like Oktoberfest where they were risk/reward. The further you drive the thinner they get. I'm happy with trees making you shape your shots so long as they are not right in front of you off the tee. I'm happy with fast firm greens, I'm happy with big slopes. The only think I'd like to see rule out courses is the hole placed on huge slopes. Harvest hills would be a great example. There were 2-3 holes where pin placement was a bit dodgy. For me there was some pin far too easily placed on flat surfaces and other too hard. It should always be possible to play a defensive putt from within 15 feet to make sure you get your par. On some of these holes if it didn't go in you had a longer putt than you started with no matter how you hit it. For me that isn't right. I'd like to see a mixture of course difficulty even though I'll do better on the harder ones.

Looking at 4 players from the remaining players to go sub -18 to move the cut line. I'd have thought only a few of them will actually play now and if the split is even between players making -19 and players not making -19 I'd say -18 is going to just be enough (by a cat's whisker haha)

Up to 68 places now for -19. 2 more people shooting -19 or better will move the cut line.

It's not looking good man, save yourself the pain of looking at the leaderboard and just assume that the cut has moved. I see you were up on exemption too so you have a lot to lose out on and -18 would normally be fine.

Has anyone played the PGA course this week (Sanderson Farms)? Interested in hearing how people thought that course compared to Harvest Hills. Basically played speed golf and ended up with the same score as I did for Harvest Hills, but can't tell if I played better or if it was an even easier course.

Yeah, I played the tour for the fun of it and shot -30 (I think). I don't vividly remember it as the more I play during the week, the more courses just blur together, LOL!
I thought it played very well off the tee. I thought the greens were very fair while somewhat difficult. It played similar to Harvest Hills minus the few holes on severe slopes. It played a little more difficult off the tee, especially in wind.
Hopefully I am remembering the right course.

I played it in 10-15 mph wind and thought it was more difficult than harvest... But then I played it in no wind and shot -9... So maybe the answer is really making the wind stronger?

Yeah it's a shame the average wind is too low now so scores are generally lower than a couple of months ago (where the average felt too high lol) If I were to play golf today in real life I'd be playing in constant 16mph winds. We hardly get that anymore on this game. Waaaaah.

This means that the players at -19 go up to the 67th place. Three more people at -19 or better will move the line, not two. Good news for you?

Which means that it was way too easy a course for the PGA. I believe I shot a -36 with very little technical issues, versus my -35 Harvest Hills score which had about six strokes' worth of issues.

59 in the final round to put me at -40 for the tour (62, 62, 65, 59). Hoping for a top 25 finish. I've got to have one of the top final round scoring averages on tour right now... too bad I can't make every round my final round.

Well I'm relieved to have sneaked inside the cut line to earn my Web card! I played OK during my first two round but missed at least 4 simple simple putts (not on the outrageously silly pins of 7 & 16 either) that would have made making the cut a whole lot safer. But I'm glad I've survived and I'm looking forward to trying to improve upon what looks like a ~50th place finish (-37) come Sunday.

Good man glad you made the cut and keep your card, that's why I was telling you to assume the cut went to -19 as you would have driven yourself mad checking the leaderboard all the time, now it's a nice surprise that you made the cut and keep your web card, well done

Finally made a cut. So much talent in this tour. Won't finish that high but at least I have gas money to head the Winnebago to the next tour stop. Yay!

Made the cut on the number! Had a good weekend of scoring so I hope I can get a decent finish after hacking up my 2nd round! I believe I got it to - 38 under.. Not 100% sure though! Still not a contending score but I'm being patient. The Web is littered with great talent!
