First two rounds completed. Round one everything worked and landed a -13 whereas in round two, tee to green went just as fine as round one but my putting was not good and it all ended up with a -8. OK I think on a bad putting day and enough to make the cut, yeah. Good luck to all. Hi Doe Coba. I just realized that you made a post in response to my question about mouse issues that I never got responded to. If I can recall, you've had issues with sub 100% swings from time to time (5 a tournament is what I think you said), but you didn't say anything about the pre-mature putts that I described. Does that ever happen to you? Where the putt releases before you intend it to?

Great scoring to everyone this week the top ten is packed with -14's and -13's. I don't know what it is about this course that I struggled on. 62,64,65,63 -34 which I'm happy enough with anyway as I seemed to average -6 in practice and I knew when I saw -45,-43 etc in the spoilers I was doomed. Anyway congratulations lads some great competition this week, I'm off to grab a few beers, rent out a bulldozer and rip up that 16th green it is the spawn of satan

must admit playing on a excemption i was dissapointed with a couple of holes with silly pin placements but everyone had to same so i can only really point my fingers at the 18th hole tee shot which had the tree infront of you so which caused me some problems with having to shape the tee shot into the cross wind to hit the fairway, but on that note i played consistant ' -61 -60 -60 -61 -46 as someone mentioned that -50 is very easy to reach on this course

Does that ever happen to you? Where the putt releases before you intend it to? No, that I have never experienced. Actually putting after the update has improved because increased mouse sensitivity suits my putting. Sometimes I experience that the putter sort of releases and loose action so I have to start backswing again - maybe it's a related issue. Fortunately this issue does not cost any shots but I can imagine the early release does. What you experience sounds most annoying so I hope it will be fixed soon.

You are right about 18th - the drive required a lot of shaping to get to fairway.

I spent ages practising lofting my drives for that extra 1%, narrows the cone but I can hit it well now. If a tree is blocking, and the shot is on, I normally attempt a two bar loft on drives. Feels great when it works, but a few times I've sent it off on a banana trajectory right or left.

Was going to play this weeks tour (on exemption), but I don't find it on the Xbox One. I do as always, search for tgctours and I find: tgctours web week5 practice tgctours.com-qschool-november tgctours.com-tst-w4 tgctours.com-cc-s2w4 tgctours.com-wgc-s2w4 (this is European tour for the week, right?) tgctours.com-pga-s2w4 tgctours web week4 practice tgctours US OPEN practise TGCTOURS.COM US OPEN COURSES Tee Time with TGCTours Week #2 That's it. Shouldn't I be able to find something like: tgctours.com-web-s2w4 I hope it has no connection whith me getting NXOE (the New Xbox One Experience) today, as I'm beeing part of the beta program?

It sure is! I made the prediction in my original post that the cutoff will be -16. With the number of people at -8 and better (83 so far out of only 105 entries), I think that -16 will be the bare minimum to have a chance at staying in. 68 people have -9 and better so a cutoff of -18 or even -19 is a real possibility. I tried the next week's course, Persimmon Valley, and it is a notch more difficult than Harvest Hills. So we will probably have a second week in a row where the first two rounds scores need to be really low to make it to the weekend. Only a notch is right. I tried Persimmon last night before bed. Had one of the most unbelievable front 9s I'll ever have. 8 birdies and 1 eagle for -10. Finished the round at -12. Persimmon has some narrower fairways than Harvest. Greens felt more.. Whats the word.. Consistent? At Harvest there were some completely flat mixed in with some almost unfair slopes. Persimmon doesn't have either. Permisson valley seems a bit fairer alright but I think we will see some great scoring again. I set up a practice tour if anyone is interested tgctours web week 5 practice. I wonder can anyone hit -50

I'm 100% in favor of harder courses after seeing how this course is being dominated score wise. I felt pretty decent about -18 through 2 rounds on Saturday morning. Now...not so much. Impressive leaderboard The Red October was a nice break away from the super difficult start of Ballyntyne National and then slightly easier Oktoberfest, but Harvest Valley feels more like a CC course. Agreed... I'd say it shouldn't get that much easier than Red October on the web tour, and even that is borderline too easy. Ballyntyne was perfect IMO.
I'd like to see the web get at least one really difficult course once in a while as a change (and I mean PGA-level difficult, where the cut is around or even above par).

Had a blast last week at the PGA course of Cuyahago. Shot 79,76,70,70 (great course for short game practice) So far at Harvest Hills 2 rounds of 59 for 26 under.

You can relax rivals. IF I make the cut I will be last after 3. A -66 just doesn't cut it here and it was an awful round. I sliced my way to even after 4, I finally got on the birdie trail on 5 and 6. On 7 I hit a tree which was near the tee box. My approach shot was never going to reach. I was about 30 yards short. I dreaded the shot with the slopes on that green. Finally some good news though as I flopped in. It didn't last, my swing was fine but my luck and my putting skills both failed me. I hit the flag with my flop shot on 8 and it bounced too far away, easy birdie missed. I then only picked up 2 more birdies until the 18th where I salvaged something with another birdie. No drop shots but way too few holes under par. Worst round of the season. Feeling deflated. May as well do round 4 now.

I thought round 3 was bad. Round 4 started well, -3 after 4. Then I got a slight distraction on the 5th tee and hooked it into the trees and behind a bush. I could only recover for bogey. Well it should have been a bogey but I missed a 1 foot putt. My first dropped shots and it came in a double. There was no way back from that, already fragile from my previous rounds I had reached melting point. I got another bogey on the 8th. Even after 8. My first TGCT over par round since I don't know when looked on the cards. I almost played on speed golf, I made more mistakes, missed even more than the usual missed putts but I didn't drop any more shots. I had 5 birdies including a chip on the last to bring it back from being a total embarrassment but not by much. I've go a stag do(bachelor party) in Spain from Friday and I'm hoping I can put this out if my mind when I return. Not that copious amounts of alcohol and no sleep will be good preparation. -28 boooooooo

Pretty sad when you are -20 after two rounds and you're lucky to be top 30.. lol. Another 62 for me today in round 2, but like most others felt I left a lot of strokes out on the golf course.
