The good news is that I didn't have to face too many sub 100% shots (2 throughout 4 rounds). The bad news is that I had 5 or 6 premature putts, 2 of them that resulted in a ZERO foot putt when I was trying to sink a 3 foot putt.
Despite the technical issues I've been having this last week, I'm content with my score. I mostly averaged about -8 to -9 in practice rounds, so I can't be too angry about my overall -35.
63 62 61 67 (4 of the pre-mature putts in this round)
Winds in the first round started around 11-12 mph but died pretty quickly. Later in the round it dropped as low as 3 or 4 mph. Double digit winds throughout the 72 holes for probably 25% of the time. But I don't think the wind ever got above 13 mph.
I still stand by my statement that winner this week will be in the high -40's, possibly low -50's. Cut will be around -16.
Good luck everyone!
Oh, and for those of you on PC: are there any others here that still use a mouse after that mouse update? I can't pinpoint my swing issues and it's so damn frustrating. In practice last night, I couldn't go more than two holes without suffering a sub 85% swing. This has pretty disastrous effects when there's heavy rough around, not to mention water. Luckily this wasn't a problem for me today.
With the putting issue basically when I hold down the left click and begin to pull my mouse back, the putter goes off before I even have a chance to move my mouse forward. Sometimes this gives me a fractional distance of what I'm looking for putt but sometimes this ends up being a 0 foot putt like i experienced a few times today.
If the fix is as easy as replacing my mouse with a current one, I'd like to hear what you guys are using and whether you currently have any swing or putting issues.

Played rounds 1 & 2.
-9 (63) -12 (60)
The 16th hole pin placement is the devil. I am happy at -21 but should have been lower.

Some evil pin positions!
All about the approach this week....
Good luck all!

I'm going to agree that #16 pin is evil. -9, -9, -10, -10 for -38. I left plenty out there so I would expect the winner to be about -45 or better

Wasn't as bad as I thought it would be, but a 4-putt on 17 in the 3rd round was devastating. Went -5, -9, -7, -9. Hope to make the cut at -14. Not sure that will hold.

Playing my first round on this course, I didn't think it was all that tough if you kept the ball in the fairway. Of course, winds can play havoc if they're a bit stronger than what I played... but I can see - 50 winning this tour pretty easy, and I think the cut is at least -12 if not higher.

64, 62 (-18) with a lot of stupid bogeys - ugh. At some point I will learn to keep the ball on the correct side of the hole. I think I'll make the cut but it could be really close.

I would say you will make the cut. No problem. 4 practice rounds and best so fat is -8. That 17th is very tricky. I have been in the water too with some 90 odd % shots. Another tough test to get a high finish.

One was on that 128 yard par 3 and i dunked it in the water. I felt like I could have been 6-8 shots better for these two rounds. Of course that would mean I was good and don't make dumb mistakes!

I think I saw -44 on XB1 leading so far for that system. -50 seems like the right estimate.

easy course to play, but after last week, ill take that. 2 practice rounds, (1 on the wrong Harvest Hills - n00b), & go for it. Played all 4 off the bat.
R1 - 60 (-12) R2 - 65 (-7) R3 - 62 (-10) R4 - 61 (-11)
missed any chance I had with a poor R2, but happy with the rest, -43 (fatzippy) is leading on PS4, with a -41 from danandsons in 2nd.
This would be a cracking course for TST play.

Interesting you guys mentioned this, I play on PS4 and haven't had many issues if any with the 90% swings since the last patch. First practice round on the par 3 over the water and I get a 90% on a dialled in yardage and dumped it in the water. I hit the same shot the second time into 2ft for a tap in bogey. It seems there must be something coded in the game to increase the randomness when hitting over a hazard as I hit a perfect straight shot with no draw/fade added. I have ended up short in bunkers plenty of times too despite being on a perfect yardage with a good clean hit.

Well I choked that away. After a -21 start I only went -14 coming in for a -35 total. Good enough to keep myself in the season long money total race but I really need to start getting consistent.
