The Web is littered with great talent! Yes it is and I like it. There is a great group of folks here.
It is a little sad, however, to look at the CC threads and only see a handful of posts in CC-A and B (heck, even the others) while we have 11 pages of discussion here. Looks like all the posters moved up to Web from CC.

The Web tour really does have a bunch of solid posters and solid players. You get the feeling anyone could win on any given week too. Why would anyone want to move up? *gets pelted with rocks*

I had a good final round of 60 and finished up at -38. Was on a roll on the back nine and hit my pitch into 17, pegged the flag stick, and had it roll back to 40 feet away. Would have been my first sub-60 round on the web tour I think. Oh well. I stopped playing on the true sim tour after this week. I think it was really screwing me up moving from aides to no aides all the time. The talent here is great. This week's scoreboard is a testament to that. I noticed our old friend Jared that moved up might win his first PGA tournament this week too.

I almost feel like popping into the fancy PGA clubhouse just to give him some props.

Seems like Web has the most amount of posters, seems like the PGA/European tours only get 5-6 pages per week.

I noticed our old friend Jared that moved up might win his first PGA tournament this week too. Hah, thanks! My 4th round was really poor, so I'm actually tied with Ryan. I think he'll win the tiebreaker, but that's because I have no recollection of my back 9 scorecard other than missed putts and poor approaches everywhere (we both parred 17th and 18th with some not-so-good putting)! We'll see though.

When you make it big and buy that big house, about 20-30 of us will just some live there rent free.... In all seriousness, glad to see you doing well up there.

-43 for me this week which I'm very happy with. Looks like I may squeeze out a top ten finish.

I completely agree with the posts about the amount of talent on this tour with so many able to shoot well, and a great buzz around the locker room. I like that we get all kinds of setups and courses and think the talent proves that some really tough courses and setups in between is fine. My favorite so far this year was Ballyntyne National.
For this week I finished round four today and the two last rounds were almost a repeat of first two. Round 3 everything seemed to work fine like round 1 and I shot a solid 61 but round 4 it was like round 2 - tee to green was fine but putting was not good. Final round was a 65 so ended tournament on -39. I scored well overall on both par 3's and par 5's and had most trouble with par 4's.
Putting was the difference for my rounds and the numbers speak for themselves:
Score Puts Round 1 59 23 Round 2 64 28 Round 3 61 23 Round 4 65 28
Finishing somewhere in the 30's and making my 4th cut, I am starting to feel I belong. There is still room for a lot of improvement so it will be fun to try and chase some result in the more interesting end of the leaderboard. Good luck to everyone next week at Persimmon Valley.
