Love that look and color scheme with the pine straw... looks so incredibly good!
I'd honestly prefer a member's version, just because I've played the course and I'd like to play it just the same as I did then. But honestly, if its a bigger hassle for you to do two versions, don't worry about it and just do one version with the tournament stuff.
So pumped for this course! Thank you a ton.

It is not a hassle. I just need to plant those objects last and publish a version without them. Another picture, from the first tee:

Dang that looks so so good!! I swear that light rough and pine straw work so well together! Love the retaining walls too!

Scoll3, as you have been and played on the course. Have I placed the trees correctly on the 7th? I find it pretty hard to get 100% accuracy from the pictures and aerial photos.

Idk looks pretty good to me! Could you do a play test and give me a look from the tee- not sure if the two trees are too small. I only know what the hole looks like from the tee so I may be of more help if I can see what it looks like from there.
But in that picture it seems near perfect

Just some info: It is not going to be a pure pre 2015 course. There has been some minor changes on many parts on the course that I will keep, including the bunker on the 16th. In my testing so far, 187 speed is well in line with all of the 2019 Heritage pin positions. Question is if I should reduce the default speed for the members version. What do you say scoll3?
To progress: I am not tired of the course, and it is such a nice course that you want to work until it is finished, so I guess that means it won't be that long until I have it done. So far most planting in the front nine is done, including most of the clubhouse area (question is how far I want to stretch that area considering plant meter etc). In the back nine, I guess the 17th, 18th and the harbor area is going to take the most time to do.

Yep the trees on the 8th look good!
I would say maybe reduce the speed a tiny bit for the members version, but primarily keep the greens and pins the same.
I love your thought process on all of this- keep the good work up!

Also was just wondering- how close are you to publishing a beta?

The course is not that far off from being done, so I don't think there is any need for a beta. The course is quite playable right now, and I am now at the 17th and 18th in planting, so I could publish it right now, but I rather wait until the planting is done since it is not far off (and it would be weird coming into the 17th and 18th compared to the rest of the course).

Ok sounds good! I was just thinking that I give could some feedback after playing the beta that you could consider for the actual final version.

I think it is the light color of the mud. I think I will sculpt the water deeper to get a darker look.
