I’m definitely interested. Love these kinds of things and I play in the American State Championship competition.
Definitely need to post pics of scorecards, and one post with both cards is the way to go.
Big picture idea for bonuses: How about a reward for consistency? If you have a “clean” scorecard (all pars or better) you get a bonus?
If you want to go the society route, I would suggest picking the brains of the gentlemen who run the senior tour — they do a phenomenal job. It’s Bogeyman for PS4.

Big picture:
If you're going to do hole in one bonus, how about albatross bonuses as well? Or eagle on par 4 or eagle on 0ar 5 that's over 600 yards?
Possibly match play? If they post scorecards you could have a commity and have people in charge of keeping track of a certain number of matches. Then you could concentrate on bonuses and the such.
Maybe have some majors that count as double points. That's all the ideas I have for right now.

Also let’s hope you don’t kick out people for saying their personal opinions 😂

Also let’s hope you don’t kick out people for saying their personal opinions 😂 Not at all I asked for opinions. I welcome them all and when I'm ready to begin this, I welcome anyone who meets the handicap criteria and wants to play by the guidelines we all have discussed, but ultimately I choose, based on not only my ease of running this community, but also all of your ideas. Your comments are all greatly appreciated.

Moneyman thank you for trying to get this league together and to who ever helps you that's awesome. If I were invited to join your league the only suggestion I have or opinion is when you run the league through the society way you never have to go through the process of finding the right course and you can also practice courses that are on the schedule weeks in advanced. There's no if you want to practice the round to make sure you change the format. Like in the Americas society it was stated that we have to change to stableford to practice. Now I've accidentally forgot this and used the score because in golf honesty and integrity is a big part of it. I just find it way easier the way Ninja had the Intrepid society setup as opposed to the America's. That's in no way taking a shot at Ninja by the way. I'm very thankful to whom ever is running one of these leagues. I know it's going to be your league so you'll run how you see fit and what's easiest for you. My father and I are both very new to this whole thing and really enjoyed playing these leagues. We both like the competitiveness as well. So if you need 2 players we would love to join. I really like the singles tournament idea inside of the team aspect as well. That way you can have a P.O.Y or maybe a FedEx Cup as well. That way if you lose as a team, you can still play the rest of the season having the team finals and the FedEx Cup ending on the same week. Lastly if you give people 1 Week to have their scores turned in that is plenty of time. Anyone who doesn't have it turned in will automatically forfeit. Just like on PGA for turning in a wrong scorecard. Anyone who can't play 2 rounds in a week you probably don't want them in the league any way. Those are just my thoughts. You asked so I figured I give you an opinion from a noob. Lol. By the way if the handicaps are close would it be possible to stay partners with my dad? That's even if you invite us. Either way we would still play if we got split up. Thanks for your time. Just going to chip in on this post. I agree that the best route to go for cross-platform tournaments is running it through societies. It takes away the temptation for someone to play a bad round and then say "well... I'll just call that one practice and play it for real the next time". It keeps everyone honest and makes it easier to keep track of how others have done if they did not post their scores. How Neon did it was he ran the XB1 society and he had a PS4 player set up the PS4 society and a PC player set up the PC society. He created a schedule and sent it to the people running the societies on the other platforms and it was smooth sailing. For the person who runs the society, there isn't really much work at all. They simply set up the schedule which takes a few minutes. And that's it! The whole season is ready to go. Personally I think the best chance for success is to use societies. I'd be happy to teach you more about them, Jason. I highly recommend considering it. It's actually very easy. And I agree I think it's a good idea to play the same course on different pins each week. Plus it makes scheduling easier. I'm with Ciborg on this. Keep it simple or it will get away from you! I have been running an XB1 society for awhile now and we already have several of Intrepid's members involved in mine as well. I would be willing to offer mine as an Xbox platform.

Would it still be two rounds a week, per person but they would be "specific" courses like Pebble Beach or Augusta? How would I make these more "important" to the player? I'm still leaning towards going non society but of course, still in discussion /consideration. Regarding the bonuses, I'd like to keep it simple to my eye to track. Someone gets a hole in one or an albatross, let me know. I think me trying to sort out eagles (as so many on tour clubs achieve them) would be a huge PITA.

I'd really like to keep this as a simple, two person team season, plus incorporate the individual points standings, depending on who scores the best, plus a few small bonuses if achieved.

I certainly try to respect everyone, but also understand that we all have different personalities. I'm an easy going guy who wants fun, sarcastic banter occurring. Sarcastic rants are fine. Rants that destroy a course or designer, complaints about my rules etc won't be tolerated. This will all be explained clearly when I begin the recruitment process and again before the season begins.

Well, if I say I just didn’t enjoy a course.. it’s not ruining that course or that designer. It’s a personal opinion. I agree yeah if someone was saying it was trash or something. It’s like with real golf. Some courses just don’t appeal to everyone. People do it with real courses all the time (I work in the golf industry and hear it all the time).
