EDIT: Season 1 ends April 29th. Season 2 will begin shortly after. Format is 2 rounds per week, either at one course or one round each at two different courses. Seeking ambassadors to create PS4 and Xbox counterparts if interested) In a brilliant marketing move, I've decided to enter the already saturated society market! Honestly, I couldn't find the type of society I was looking for (not that I looked SUPER hard), so I decided to do my own. There is absolutely nothing special to it, and I probably don't really know what I'm doing, but oh well: - 1 round tournaments - 2 days to finish, because I'm slow - A rotation of new courses and old courses to play - A chance to plug one of my courses in every once in awhile - Course reviews will continue to be posted on the blog: blog.tgctours.com/If you aren't already maxed out on societies and want to slip in an occasional casual round, stop on by.

Because I don't like when societies neglect to post their schedule online, here are the upcoming events so far:
Aug 7-8 - Bicho de Sete Cabecas Aug 9-10 - Topaz Lagoon Aug 11-12 - St. Andrews Links - Old Course

It might help if I indicated the platform, lol. This is for PC. Thanks to mrooola for joining and doubling the society population! I might up the tournament count to one a day if and when I feel a stretch of days coming when I can play a lot, and go back down to every other day when I get busy. Enjoyed the first course so far, looking forward to knocking out a bunch more on my list.

If Hershey's is truly dead I'll join this one. I like the idea of having 1 round tournaments over these 4 rounders which is too much commitment outside of Official events

Finally gave up on Hershey yesterday and left, so it would be awesome to have another society that just has daily-type events setup vs. the 4 rounders - those were the most fun for me in Hershey. Will definitely check this one out.

Not sure I can hop on tonight, so looking to have next few events added by tomorrow.
Of the societies that I am in, I've never really paid attention to entry fees, purses, or anything to do with leveling up, so I am just guessing on all of those. If anyone has any recommendations for ideal setup please let me know.

Big win for me in week one! On my own course no less. With Big Smooth and Coruler joining the mix that will likely be the last time I make it to the top of the leaderboard.
Followed it up with a turd on Topaz. Difficult course for me to manage in TGC2.

I played like a turd myself. That might have reflected my view of the course a bit

I remember the only thing I ever won on TGC Tours was a TST event at my course super early in the life of the tour. Since then I can't win anything... not even my own career events. I hope you enjoy your winnings, as I have no idea how much it was. I'll work on the upcoming schedule while at work tomorrow and hopefully get the events created tomorrow night. At the very least I'll get them posted here.

This made me LOL I donated a bit of fake money for clubhouse renovations, and so you can hopefully worry less about if you're splitting the purses enough to keep the bank account up. But whatever you decide to do with event payouts is good by me, I'm just interested in having a bit of fun and playing quality courses outside of only tour rounds. Thanks for setting this up, there are plenty of PC people with an open spot after Hershey closed it's doors, so I'm sure the group size will start to grow a bit.

Next 3 venues will be:
Aug 13: Chico's Mansion, Winter
Aug 14-15: Taby Golfklubb
Aug 16-17: Silent Ivy Hotel
Edit: I sorted out the dates and added them here. Chico's Mansion will be a one day event due to being a 9 hole par 3.
