This seemed fun. Just to throw something else in there: I've won four tournaments between PGA and Euro...I started all four of them at exactly midnight on Friday night, which clearly means I didn't have ghost balls. and I haven't won since November. At least uv won  , i'd pit myself ,sober lol ,against any1 over 1 rnd .Usually pissed by rnd 4 hahaha .I'd see 6 ghost balls thats y i dont use em  b like a firework display |

Might been said before, why not make ghost a option in the tour option setup. Like wind, gridlines??? Somthing for tgc2.

I am not too fond of late registration. I would prefer to just get rid of late registration altogether and have first two rounds in by Tuesday. You still have all of the weekend and the first two days to get them in. Why wait til Thursday to see scores for two rounds then the next two rounds appear the next 2 days. Ghost balls help on the tee shots and some putts if you are in close proximity. Approach shots are no help. You don't know what club and loft they are using. I only use 1 ghost on TST.

The admins were being flooded with emails when late registration was not allowed. Even if it is banned, they still get email from people begging them to put them in. Also, why do you only play with one ghost? This does not make it any according to the Paranormal Investigators on this sight.

Holy Hell!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  I've only read through 5 pages of this complete $h!t...WOW!  This is my take: Any time that I don't win a tournament by at least 4 strokes means that everyone else cheated. Seriously...WTF?! These comments/accusations are egregious. If I couldn't play my rounds whenever the Hell I want to, then I'd not be able to play. I go out a bunch as soon as midnight on Friday. (Saturday) Other times I might play later in the week. I'm pretty sure we all have other things going on in our lives. I've never played a round with Machine or Junior or anyone else who is lights out at this game. Notice I said GAME??! Someone will always be better at games than you. Unless you're Michael Jordan. He's the exception. If I can ever make it to PGA I'm sure I'll get my ass handed to me by all those guys. I got my ass handed to me down in CC and even in Web now. Sometimes I get streaky and can go low. Other times I can't make $h!t from anywhere.  I shot -20 in a round back in CC at Oceanic and nobody accused me of cheating. Hell, you could've followed my ghost and seen all the craziness I had going. (unless you're one who cries and deems ghosts cheating) Calling someone a cheat is pretty stout in a gaming community. Sure, there are going to be people who manipulate the system. That's everywhere in life. Do I care? Do they influence how I play? Do they pay my bills? Do they work the stupid hours that I work? NOPE! People are going to play the way they want to. People play the game in the way that is most enjoyable for them. I've played with ghosts quite a bit. I don't watch their shots because I'm too busy looking at my "Super-System" loft/yardage/roll-out/carry book. I've even played with ZERO ghosts and did the same. GASP! It's all about putting if you ask me. Just like real golf. You can hit your drive 360? WOW! You suck with wedges and can't putt? WOW! I will shred you with my weak 280-ish off the box, really good iron and wedge play, and decent putting. It goes back to that thing of people being better at games than you. That's the way the world works. I put in a TON of work in my real life golf game. Even if I'm at work. (I have a job that allows me to pretty much do what I want) Also, I've recently started playing turn-based with one singular, lonely ghost. So many people want to criticize and accuse one another instead of actually putting in any effort. The more that I write, the more irritated I get at some of the dumb $h!t I've read through this. Maybe I can get someone to notice me. Almost like the OP seemed to need. I like attention! And cookies! Anyway, sorry for my wall of text. Maybe I can get Irving R. Levine to put me in the butt-hurt segment this week. |

I love playing with ghost.. I do not practice tourney venues very much.. Sometimes I don't practice a venue at all.. So yeah, when those ghost are hitting the very 1st green, I watch to see how far the ball rolls out because I have no clue how firm the green is.. Then I am pretty much done with ghost.. I never had a ghost help me on putts.. I think I hit putts softer than most folks and have to give a little more break.. So ghost really dont help me on putting.. The only other thing ghost help me with is letting me know if I can clear a hazard or not.. 9 times out of 10 I hit my shot before all the ghost.. LOL.. I play fast which also hurts me sometimes.. Facts: 1) Ghost Balls are not against the TGC Tours rules 2) Calling someone a cheat for using ghost balls is ridiculous since using ghost balls is not against the rules If the admins decided to ban ghost balls.. I would not tee up with them.. splittailace Start another tour if you wish and make each player twitch rounds.. Then you can make the rules and you can police it.. Heck, you can even do a 5 second shot limit so people can't break out with the charts and loft a 3 iron 69 degrees so it lands softer on the green.. You can watch the streams and break out with the stopwatch |

I did start this whole thing in the suggestions thread correct? And everyone did read the OP in this thread correct?
A month later and I'm still getting attacked lol.
I'm not going to comment any further on this thread. I posted in here to convey an idea and opinion that I feel strongly about in this game. Nothing else of substance has been added here. No comments from Scott, or Tim, or whoever the decision makers are these days.
Hopefully TGC 2 will answer the call...

Then make it even right? That was the premise.
Tee times. A suggestion. Make it random. Take certain players out of the shadows. Put the greats on a pedestal, give new guys that play early a fighting chance.
People posted saying I thought I was the center of the universe and all this nonsense for making such a suggestion. Absurd right?
I'm now realizing that they are all taking or took it personal because they were or are currently using ghosts. AND they feel the need to rip my ass for even hinting at the notion that it be considered an exploit in any way.
I was even called a piece of sh%$ on a shoe, a douche bag, etc.
It was a suggestion and a direct finger pointing at a flaw in the game.
I didn't think I or my opinions were the center of the universe but im starting to think I'm wrong about myself lol

I don't use ghosts. The distract me. All them damn balls flying all over the place when you're trying to take a shot. Forget it. So I don't use ghosts. I also suck at this game.
