Thanks for the effort Bryan. Interesting take on the wind regarding pixel accuracy. I had always just gone by yardage per box dependent on club. Definitely the lazy man's way of dealing with it in comparison to knowing how much each pixel draw/fade you apply.
Someone said in a thread on this sub-forum long ago to use 14 mph per box for the driver. 12 mph per box for the middle irons and 10 mph per box for the short irons. So this is what I use if I decide to use the slider. If it's a 6 mph cross wind and I'm hitting a 6 iron. I'm probably going half a box. This works fairly well for me for the most part, but I prefer the counting clicks method to the slider method I only play the fade/draw slider no more than a handful of times each round unless winds are well into the teens.
Then there's the issue of uneven lies that don't seem to have any impact whatsoever on the ball trajectory.

Thanks Bryan for all the tips and such
After charting all my shots, I went and did the wind thing a little earlier...
Thought Id try my hand at the US Open first round.... was -7 going into 16 and then bogied the last for a -6.....unreal for me...
we shall see where this takes me...

And then throw this all out the window once the new patch comes out!!!!!! Ya know I was thinking the very same thing, however then realized I'm just giving tips on getting the numbers, while they may need to be re-done with the new patch, they can be re-done using these methods.

Worth it just for the tip about going offline to enable wind - I didn't know that. At last I can practice in wind!
I imagine making a links course for practice, hopefully, might ensure stronger winds.
Having now tried it,it's a great pity there is no going back to play the same shot over and over - I had expected to be able to do that.

but it's simple nope it's not. It says move cursor to where break stops. Then in picture below it is clearly still breaking beyond that

Then in picture below it is clearly still breaking beyond that I think the problem phrase is "...and turn the opposite way of the way of the break till the grid lines go flat and level" I must admit this is as clear as mud to me. Which grid lines? The ones across or the thicker lines down? The ones across never change so I'm assuming it refers to the thicker lines but 'flat and level' means nothing at all to me.

Maybe it does refer to the grid lines across though - who knows!

I'm sticking with my fully patented tried and tested approach. It has seen my meteoric rise to 300 something in the rankings!
Pick a spot, say a quick prayer, close my eyes and whack it.

It doesn't say "until the break stops." It says the "until the grid lines go flat." If you look at the horizontal grid lines between the ball and the cup, you will see that the lines themselves do go flat. The beads still move to indicate break.

Yes,I said 'flat and level'. I still do not understand what is meant by the grid lines 'going flat'

I tried the putting method on round 4 of my CC Tourney. Actually, the thing about getting the lines level made perfect sense. You can't get it by just reading about it. But when you actually try it, it becomes crystal clear. I'll have to tweek things a bit, but I saw a definite improvement on the twisty turney putts. They were either very close or a few actually went in. Nice tip. Now how do we flatten the lines on a double breaker?

I'm telling you now ! Why I didn't take the time before two days ago after reading Bryan's tips to do these things is beyond me
Tremendous difference however I haven't gotten dialed in perfect yet... My putting is still a work in process ... Played Idanha earlier Was -6 through 5 and began to lip out putt after putt ... I'm getting closer on my approaches and the roll outs but not dialed in dead yet ...
Take the time chart your clubs and roll out , chart how wind affects your shots ....now to dial it in "if I can" ha ha
Thanks Bryan valuable tips if folks will just go take the time .... Just charting clubs and roll out 4 1/2 hours for me .... On medium firm and medium speed Seriously thinking about charting them on many different firm and speeds just to do it lol
to test my game after two days of trying these new tips I decided to give the US Open a go -7 round one and -12 I think it was after two rounds which possibly could have made the cut ( well maybe lol)
