On tonight's stream I will be creating a multi-pin version of Monte Cervino. Exciting stuff! I will go live around midnight Eastern time if the topic interests you.

So it turns out streaming about multi-pin set-ups is literally the boringest thing in the world.

So it turns out streaming about multi-pin set-ups is literally the boringest thing in the world. Haha, it may be boring but there is definitely an art to it and is really important to get right. Hopefully some folk will find it useful . I'll probably try and take a look at some point and see how you go about it. Perhaps a more interesting stream would be constructing a green with multiple pins/conditions in mind, that is possibly the most important thing to get right for a tour worthy course Another aspect of course design that is very individual is how you go about starting a new course. However if you are like me it might take 10 or more sessions before finding something you want to keep on with

Build, sculpt and bunker your greens with multiple pin placements in mind. The last thing you want to be doing is making drastic changes to accommodate a pin you didn't plan for. Not a good look and people will notice.

Course critique of The Creek@Blueberry Run by ct131313 completed: Watch Past BroadcastI played the front 9 and then hopped in the designer to give some tips on the areas I felt needed some attention. This is a good course that with a little polish would be a great course. Excellent hole design, excellent sculpting (especially the fairways and greens) and some really interesting features including some great mounding. The areas I felt needed improvement were: Better fairway shape blending Using less stock shapes for greens and bunkers Water edge and retaining wall clean-up view from the tee box I tried to cover these in the designer but not sure how good of a job I did so if anything needs clarification let me know. There were some cosmetic things I didn't care for, sign placement for example, but that's just my opinion so take it for what it is. Is this a course I would expect to be accepted to the TGCTours database? Yes, definitely. Is this a course I would expect to be selected to host a tournament? No, but with just a few tweaks i most certainly think it has the potential. Agree? Disagree? Give it a play and let me know what you think.

Has your course been rejected by TGCTours? Would you like to know why and how to fix it? Or do you have a course your thinking of submitting to TGCTours but aren't sure it will make the cut? The previous course doesn't fit into this category but I wanted to give an example how I will be conducting my critiques by identifying problem areas and then popping into the designer to give some tips on how to fix them.
If anybody is interested in that sort of thing let me know.
