All this talk of IRL is crap .We dont allow chipping on greens etc(which i dont condone) its our tweeks to make the game fairer for all. This revamp seems some wot one sided .How far do we go stickin to irl rules whereas at the same time implementing our own . Instead we try to appease the 'newbies' and koto to the pc brigade an' not upset them . Tough luck if its gonna take a while to break the top 50 ,20 or 10 u shud av been here from the start . As for inactive players they shud av to go thru q-school again without legitimate reason for absenteeism . I have to reiterate the above because some dont get the fact its took 2yrs+ to get this far , wherever that leaves you , some think that playing the game for a year or so is too long and effectively want to queue jump because of a couple of decent performances. Changes on the whole usually improve a game , i hope this continues to be the case , fingers crossed

Feel free to do whatever you need to do. Just don't take me away from that 19th spot.

Went from #6 to #4. Never going to catch Ian or Brad, but would be nice to reach #3

Good change imo. Coming from a guy that went down, when you actually take the time to understand what is changed and why you would probably like it too. Not true for me. I understand the changes and I disagree with removing the divisor (I thought 20 was good) and increasing the equal footing time to 52 weeks. I like the accelerated points decay, but I don't like using cumulative total as opposed to a weighted average. IMO they had it right after the first change and caved to outside pressure. +1. 1st change and remove inactive a. If they come back to the game their points are still there.

Yourself, Mr. Duke, and Griffin are more accurately reflected higher in the WGR. I was surprised to jump past Coates and Doyley. I was neck and neck with Gilbert. Also, Humprhies is breathing down my neck with strong performance

I really can't believe the people complaining. Tim, Scott and the guys do all of this for us, they ask for nothing but seeing their dream come to life. They are trying to find something that will work for most. This isn't real golf no how much you want to pretend. They have extended the life of a good golf game far beyond anyone's expections. Go with the flow and enjoy the ride. I know I will.

Constructive criticism is healthy and just shows that the players in this league care and like to remain engaged. The lack of apathy here is a testament to the strength and character of the league.
I don't think anyone has suggested TGCT is poorly run.

My suggestion would be to add a rule to the WGR system. You act like an ass-clown with your comments and you go down 10 ranks. Plus maybe a little Scarlet A for Ass-Clown on your profile picture. I would expect a site and service like this to charge money. At least for the cost of hosting the site. But they adamantly refuse to take money (I've tried) and are constantly trying to improve the experience. Not all decisions are going to be well received. Just like the choice of courses every week for a tournament - no way to please everyone.

The work Tim, Scott and all the other guys do is truly wonderful. I will never ever try to influence anything unless im asked. TGCTours is part of my daily life and i know that sounds stupid because its a video game but its true. I log on everyday, check the forums, leaderboards etc etc and love every minute of it except the numerous times i have raged I have made some great friends through the tours and don't want to ruin those relationships. I hope TGCTours runs successfully into the future and im sure it will with people like Tim and Doyley running it (and the countless others)

Weird says I was 95, (68 before) and I have never even finished worse than 60 and probably average in the 40s. But somehow it says now I have jumped to 66, and that still seems wrong. Anyway, I have been finishing higher than my WGR every week and still lose rankings every week. Never made since to me anyway. Anytime I finish 20-30 places better than my actual WGR and I still lose spots, something never seemed right. And now it is even more confusing than ever. I have seen guys do worse than their WGR and move up, just weird. Doesn't really matter anyway, all I care about is FedEx points.
And to those of you who think this is complaining, well you know where you can kiss it. Mind your own business.

So you might not be factoring that part in.

Looks like we're now using a 40 tournament cumulative total (as opposed to 52). OK.
I went from 43, to 13, to 20, and finally landed at 22. Hopefully the ride is over.
Appreciate the admins putting the time in.

Divisor and non linear decay is still better imo. First change still the best one.
But it will work - whatever it is.
