Yeah. I see now. Does seem odd, but your results have been much better recently. I also had a far better web career, he's had a better big show then me, he is IMHO the better player and should rank higher. However I'm sure it all shakes out fine in the math. It all comes down to what you are trying to accomplish and making the math fit. I'm sure this accomplishes the exact intended vision of the bosses around here. They really do a remarkable job. Doesn't seem odd to me - your Euro finishes have been strong, your Web and CC were better than his. Wins give you good points, 2nd place finishes give good points...He doesn't have any - that's probably the difference. Punch in the points given out for a 2nd place finish vs 5th and you'll see where you probably created the gap.

Who are you talking about? Have they played many fewer tournaments than you? If so, there is your answer. Played 12 more than me actually, PGA and Euro all season as well, and better overall IMHO. Doing an excel average of your Pro tour events, your average finish is 13th, whereas James Morgan (think that is who you are talking about ) average finish is 17th.
You've also got 6 top 5's and he's only got 3.
Seems to make sense that you'd be higher?

I like the new system. Thanks for all your efforts guys. However, if I understand it correctly you really only have a "partial" WGR until you have played 40 tournaments when you then have your "complete" WGR. It would good if the WGR could be marked in some way to denote whether it is full or partial.

Anyone with 40 (and no finishes over 100th) will have points in all 40 slots.

It would be good if you could add "My Number of Events" alongside My WGR and My Points at the top so it is easier to find in the one place. Some of us are not on the first page! ☺

fuzionI had the WGR points gained per event for a standard PGA/Euro event in a file. I lost that hard drive. Can you PM me the formula used? Its 101 minus some square roots of the position where you finish with dividing and subtracting involved. I can't figure it out exactly anymore to replicate it and replace my file now.
