Oh good thanks.
Figured I had a ways to go yet. I had shut down right after that anyway so I could always go back a save or two if need be.

I'm not much of a gamer, TGC, before that used to be a lot of racing before the golf. Never played any Fallout before this one, had no idea what to expect. For me it has far surpassed my expectations. I love it. The sheer size of it is amazing in this day where single player campaigns are 10 hours long. I have 70 hours into this and have yet to even see the bottom of the map. Maybe some of the others here who have played the other versions will speak up, for me it's one of the best games I've played, but remember I haven't played many lol I'll say this about online reviews though. I had heard about The Golf Club nearly 2 years ago, I kept reading review after review that were negative. Watched some YouTube videos that made me say to myself "ewwww". The graphics were gross, some of it was the YouTube compression, some before the game was optimized (admittedly still not the greatest looking game out there). So for about 6 months I refused to buy it, based solely on what some dingle berry online said in his online review. One day nearly a year and half ago I decided to buy it, don't regret it at all. Have sunk nearly 500 hours into it on PC, around 300 on PS4, maybe 50 on Xbox1 before I got the PS4--then migrated to PC. Read more than one review, go the fan websites, read the posts there by people actually playing it, google images for screenshots, watch YouTube, then you should have a better idea what to expect and whether or not its for you or not. I have both fallout and witcher right now... Fallout has eaten FAR more time for me. Still messing with different ReShades and such. Found one that has a nice look but is too dark...still searching for the perfect look.

That light box is insanity, nice job I had a go at one few pages back but decided to scrap it. Wanted to to a TGC Tours clubhouse but tedious work, wiring everything up and all the generators. Then my god touching each and every box to get the color, so many times I fast clicked past the color I wanted, it was maddening. If they could streamline the process a bit it would be nice. Oh and a nuclear generator where you only need one. My own little Fallout progression, I finally made it to the point of no return, sided with the Institute, was going to do MinuteMen but changed my mind (have a save point where I will go back to try the others.) Today I may go killing all BOS. Debating restarting all over again now that I am fluent in the game and what to do. But I don't want to have to rebuild my main house/base. Wish I built this early in the game. And I'm not really done there. Ground Floor.. other floors are empty.baring one bed where I would sleep for a few hours to get back to daylight for my building.

I built it with the brotherhood. when down there for 20mins. mind was blown, couldnt cope so loaded a save just before i went in and continued exploring. I'm guessing its at the point of buildig right? I've leveled up so much since then. 92 now. Might have to stick with BoS cos they always been my fav (bar the religious stuff that doesnt really jive with technology imo) Then load up a super old save for doing the others.

It was at the start of the Molecular Level I think, just before I relayed into the Mass Fusion building it said "doing so will make you a permanent enemy of the Brotherhood"

I totally forgot about this thread! I stopped playing four days ago when I had to make a choice of which faction road to go down. I guess I should start up again before the weekend's tournaments on TGC comes around.

I'm going after the BOS today, tried to do some golf but just couldnt get into it. Did what I wanted there, beat my old score on Powderfinger Blue tee's, and just keep my edge in the game a bit until the tournaments this weekend. Since I'm at the stage of "do I continue, load an older save to try another faction, or start over" I decided to try some mods.Been reluctant up till now, aside from a .bat file to increase my building budget, needed to, hit my max at Sanctuary. Only been using a SweetFX preset until today. Today I downloaded the Nexus Mod Manager, then installed "settlement supplies expanded" (bunch of new stuff, brand new cars, building materials, trees, rocks" All prewar stuff. Then installed "Touch of Green", the de saturated version and wow, whole new game with green grass and plants. I need to ban myself from Nexus Apparently you're unsuscribed to a thread if you haven't responded to it in a while. I totally forgot about this thread! I'm waiting to figure out exactly where I have to make the decision of who I can join. I got the railway to help me with that chip. I haven't built the platform yet. Because I chose the railroad, have I made my choice? I just want to make sure I make a master save at the point of no return so I can go back and play each faction. I feel like I'm close to the point..just don't want to miss it!
Also loving the mods...just dl'ed the wasteland storms mod and it's epic.
