Tough winds to start a tournament. I started off great at -5 at the turn. Ended up going +1 on the back 9 to bring back to -4 for round 1. adambm85 shot -14 day 1 on the PS4. That is some crazy stuff. Congrats to that guy.

Thats not a CC-A player, just a FYI. Still a heck of a score, though.

It's a PGA player, not familiar with the name, but looks like he earned his card in July, but has yet to play a tournament officially as he has no WGR or scores in his profile.

Haha, I was baffled by that when he had an 8-shot lead on my first-round score... Happy that he's not competing with us for exemptions / spot in Web.com finals! Relatively satisfied with a 66-67 start in the two windy rounds. Bombed a 50-foot eagle putt in Round 1 and chipped in for eagle on 18 in Rd 2. The wind directions were pretty much opposite for the first two rounds but about the same velocity. Lots of fun. I love the windy rounds.

Something to shoot for -- I think it's safe to target -30 for the tournament and assume somebody will break that threshold.

Easier course than previous weeks but the winds are tricky, plus tree placements can make for some difficult approaches. I played through the PGA tournament at Whistling Straits just for fun/practice. It was fairly windy but I was satisfied with -23. If I get to -23 or so this week, I'll probably be disappointed, but we'll see...

Couple of tough greens but I like the course. Winds 13mph, 13mph, 10mph and then 7 mph. Scores 70, 73, 67, 68, -10 overall.

after a few goes on the practice tour, I couldn't get my head round this course, so I withdrew. Played it anyway & was justified in my decision to take the week off.

Playing up here this week on an exemption. Lost the first hole tiebreaker to finish in 2nd place in last week's tourney in the CC-B flight.
I really rushed through the tourney this week in the wee, early hours of Saturday morning, because I had to catch a plane very early on Saturday and will be away from the PS4 for 9 days. I could've skipped a week, but I want to play in as many tourneys as I can.
R1 = 73 (+1) R2 = 68 (-4) R3 = 66 (-6) R4 = 65 (-7) Total = -16
We'll see if my rushed play cost me a promotion.
Good luck, good shots, good skills, and good bounces to everyone!

My second round just gave me a headache. I started off well again getting to -4 at the turn. The back nine voodoo got me and I proceeded to go +5 over the next five holes. I managed to scramble back to even by the end. The back nine on this course just kills me for some reason.

The back nine on this course just kills me for some reason. Not just you. I found the 10th green brutal and just couldn't make any good approaches on the back, with the exception of the 11th (? par 5 with the pond by the green). Burned way too many edges on putts, and had a mediocre final two rounds for which I won't reveal the score...

Five birdie front 9, then proceed to go +6 over the next five holes.
