Couple of quick questions. Any reason why there can't be a Ryder Cup style event set up for Week 39 between the PGA Tour players and Euro Tour players?
Also seeing as there is the Presidents Cup in Week 40 with nothing really for the Euro guys to do can a Seve Trophy event be set up for the Euro guys that want to play it? Can do unofficial event if necessary and if theres enough people willing to play have 32, 48 or 64 players to give a larger number the chance to play it? I think the 64th European player is ranked around #113 right now.
Just a suggestion as I know Jacko has run similar events before on other sites. If theres Interest I'll start a thread on the Euro Tour thread as most European players play on that tour and see if/how many would want to take part.

The admin team still has lots of work to do between seasons in a short amount of time. I would suggest organizing something as an unofficial event and run it on the forums/challonge - I would assume that there would be lots of interest.

Don't know if this is the place to ask this or not... but if someone wanted to change tours from season 1 to season 2. Say go from Euro to PGA or vice versa... is there a 'procedure' for that to happen? I've been asking the same thing a couple of days ago, so you might wanna have a look at this thread (if you haven't already): > Switching to other Tour (Card) next season
I'm generally fine with all those decissions about the Tour final(s) done by the admins! But one (major) thing is still bugging me: As said above, this is gonna have HUGE IMPACT on TGCTours and its future! So I really, really hope that PGA and EUR are not going to be a two-tiered thing in the upcoming season(s).

We will have a period during W39 where PGA and Euro tour members that didn't compete in the Web.com Tour Finals will be able to request a switch to the other tour (via email to commish@tgctours.com). I would hope that the balance of talent on both tours will remain equal - if we find that it's a mass exodus one way or the other we'll have to put full stop rather quickly.

Been chucking a few digits around my head and decided that my best (albeit small) chance of winning a finale is to play in the fed ex. The way the points are reset and distributed if i can make a run leading up to the tour championship i can have a shot at taking it all. Just hope they let me return to my home after sorry europe.

Wish I wouldn't have started so late here. I'd like to think I've been a top 10 American since May, but I unfortunately am still only up to 58th in the world. 20th ranked American. Ryder Cup is next year, so no worries.

Really?? You are at 900 + Fed ex and need to make up 3500+ points. While on the Europe tour you are 2million down with 4 10,000,000 purse tournies around. A win will get you almost 2 million. You would need some help from Bradley and them to finish not in the top 5 to make headway but over four tournies you would have to hit probably top 5 each time. Top prize 1.8, 2nd 1 million. For the Fed Ex... you have a similar issue where there are four tournies with 2k points each. So if you win you get 2k points, i'm not sure the break downs from there. You are pretty much in the same boat. So I'm thinking you are suggesting the PGA might be softer?

No because points are reset before the tour championship so basically to guarantee winning u need to be top 5 before the final event. Win that and its yours. U can also win if ur 30th but chances are greatly reduced. See the link on how it works....

I think I qualify for both PGA and EUR playoffs
Can I participate in both events? and if so, If they are being run at the same time, can I play 2 events in one week?
Do I qualify for the Presidents Cup (geographically)? I certainly hope so... Have been looking forward to being a part of that all year. If not, I will create a Ryder cup event on the forums

But I may be wrong bud, I chose to play the Euro Tour from the outset, with the full intention of making the Race to Dubai, so I know where I will be playing for the four weeks. I believe you make the Presidents Cup as you are not able to participate in the Ryder Cup, again I may be wrong but that's how I understand it.

I've been focused on the Race to Dubai .. Although, if it both count towards WGR points, I'm definitely interested in playing both.. Either way, I'm happy
If I do qualify to play the President's Cup... hopefully a captain will pick me.. I promise I can play a little
Someone should still do a Ryder Cup... Maybe if we ask Dubsonic nicely he will make a trophy for it..
Just a thought... It would be rather nice for the guys selected to play President's... to receive a 'selection badge' for their profile.. Since it is quite an honour to be selected for that

You can only play one event per week, so you could theoretically play the first 2 events of the Fedex and the Final 2 of the Race to Dubai, but you won't be able to play both in full. You qualify for the Presidents Cup automatically as a South African who is also World No 1 - no need for a pick. There won't be a Ryder Cup this year because the Ryder Cup is next year

Really? You're placed amazingly in the Race to Dubai. With 4 big purses youll win it with 4 good events. It seems it's between Mitchell and above to win it. Whilst Fed Ex Cup is more of a lottery and as long as you get top 125 (obviously helps if you are higher) you can make an amazing run to win it.
