After Thousand Bogeys and Hau'oli Sh'it I think the above course will suit the majority of us CC members down to a (ahem) tee. Only played a round on the Thursday Edition and the fairways and greens were more than generous. Will be some very low scores in light winds but any 15mph+ and could be a little challenging, especially as it's multi-pin.

I wasn't wearing my glasses and 2. I really wasn't trying. How would you compare it to the previous two courses mate?

Managed to finish -7 without, which wasn't bad as 1. I wasn't wearing my glasses and 2. I really wasn't trying. How would you compare it to the previous two courses mate? It played fine. Don't like it in the wind though. If you lose the fairway add 2 strokes to the hole. And that finishing hole is just ignorant. I played the Thursday and I drew 15-18 mph winds and I didn't enjoy my round at all.

Ya I drew 15-18mph and it wasn't enjoyable at all....2 and 3 clubs up on some holes. I don't think I have ever played a round since joining this site that has been under 8-10mph winds.

Pass - might have been the original! Enjoyed the challenge of harder courses, failed miserably in scoring well on them. There is such a wide range of ability across the CC, it's hard to accommodate with 1 course. At least it's a level playing field with the wind! Needed that update desperately. Shame my swing is pants since the new update

I threw a suggestion in the Suggestion Box thread. Possibly adding a DC Tour (Developmental Circuit) could help some of the lower level players(like myself) gain a bit of confidence in tournaments. Just an idea.

Just an idea. Have you asked admin about seeing if they'll drop you down to Z so you can work your way up from there once you start to master the game (which I'm sure you will) mate? I know as players get promoted and demoted the circuits should start to level out but clearly going by the scores there's still a massive difference in quality on your circuit.

No I haven't submitted anything to the admins. I didn't think you could ask to be demoted in the CC levels. I thought you just had to take your lumps and get demoted there. I'm 4 for 4 in strikes. I played 3 in CC-D and x'd out on all 3..and this week I'll withdraw and not submit my scores for another x in my first E event. I know I'm not very good...and I probably play this game more hours than anyone on this site. I just don't seem to be getting any better in tournaments. I play fine practicing all the courses.

Maybe if they look at your scores they might be able to make an exception. I guess they can only say no! I appreciate it is frustrating though. I know I'm good enough to be a front runner on CC-A. The difference between myself and the top players is consistency. I finished Hau'oli Mino'aka earlier and went -16 for the first two rounds and +3 for the second two. A regular occurrence which is starting to annoy the hell out of me but I shall continue to persist until I achieve greatness!

I threw up(literally)a 78 in the winds. And I repeat..that last hole is just ignorant. Triple bogey on 18.

I think averages will certainly be higher on this wide open course. Played a handful a practice rounds and they're coming in around -1 and -2 already.

Seems pretty obvious to me that the CC tours need to be broken up into at least 2 separate entities. CC-A is vastly different skill wise than CC-E. I would be inclined to make CC-A & CC-B a step up & different course than lower CC groups. Just my take

Just my take I agree, I think a two year tier system would be best but I believe one of the admin guys said, mainly due to time constraints etc, which we have to accept given they do all this in their own time for free, that it's just not possible. The last three courses have been too difficult for the average or below average CC player, no doubt about it, but going forward from next week they should play easier. Fraxinus certainly feels that way to me. Granted, we're all gonna have different opinions on the difficulty level but on this course the fairways are generous, the greens are not like ice rinks and breaks on most are minimal. Hopefully folk will start to enjoy the game again.
